Visited Lagos 8.12.23 for 4 nights. Great location, nice pool area, nice staff, wonderful for families. Only complaint is the lack dining option. Understanding that most people eat out. We did arrive later in the evening for our first night and the only option was to eat buffet dinner at 10pm when we just wanted a light snack. All in all would recommend this hotel.
Iberostar Selection Lagos is located close to the beach and most of its rooms overlook the waters. Amenities are excellent. It has an excellent breakfast which was built into the rate and a great dinner buffet which we had to pay for additionally. This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy but when one is in the Algarve region it is better to head outside and explore the beaches and the mesmerizing cliffs. So there could be cheaper options which would be better value for money The hotel has minimal free parking so you will likely need to get a free spot. Restaurants are close by. The Algar Seco, Ponta Piedade and several attractions are within a 30 minute drive. The hotel needs to work on its check in process which is painfully slow and consumes too much time even though they do welcome you with a drink
