The hotel had a creepy parking lot with guys yelling at each other and a guy who looked like he was living out of a car. The service was good and the room was ok.
Staff was extremely friendly. Comfortable beds and loved the king suite was actually 2 rooms.
The sheet of quilt and bed are not clean. there are several yellow stains.
Cleanliness and updated décor were excellent. It would have been better if the room had a printed tv channel guide; also the selection of food items was not as broad as many comparable facilities (nor were they replenished as breakfasting tour groups depleted them).

W.r.t. the cost, the hotels is much much better. It was not written in Orbitz description that the hotel has a shuttle service. So I was overly happy to see the service there. I will again go to this hotel.

I was traveling with my sister, my 2 yr old niece and my 86 yr old grandmother. On the second night of our stay, we returned to the room at 2:30am from a long day of driving back from NY. I went to the restroom and found cockroaches walking up the wall under the sink. We requested to be switched to another Comfort Inn hotel, but because we booked our reservation thru Orbitz, they did not help us in any way. They told us we had to contact them. They did offer to switch to another room but that was not going to make us feel comfortable at all. As we were talking to the front desk person a cockroach was walking on the counter and still they would not help. Please be cautious if you stay there. There is a reason why it's affordable. Regardless of were or how you booked your stay, they should have been more accommodating. There was no way were were going to be able to sleep if we stay in that hotel. We left, and until 4 am we were in our rental car looking for an available hotel until we found The Hampton Inn and they were amazing. They were very accommodating and understanding. The hotel was nice, good location, but very noisy due to our room was right above the lobby and next to the elevators. The staff was very nice and helpful, check in was very easy.

Close to Washington, DC, would stay there again. We wanted to book a bus tour and see a few more of the historical sights but due to our time schedule we were unable to stay, which means we will return to D.C. area in the near future.
Nice, clean room. Pool temperature was perfect. Only negative, was that there was only one working elevator. Other than that...it was a great experience.
Very convenient location. We loved visiting old town Alexandria and enjoyed the walking ghost tour of historic buildings. Easy access to interstate system allowed us to visit DC attractions and harbor district. Close to shopping and restaurants however, hotel did not have restaurant, but offered great hot breakfast buffet. Small convenience store with limited choices for snacks and beverages. Front desk staff very informative and pleasant to talk to. Property was clean and well kept with comfortable rooms including fridge and microwave for preparing own treats.
I did not realize hotel did not have a restaurant and there weren't any within walking distance. Had to get own transportation whenever we wanted to eat. Shuttle would only take us to Metro stop. Breakfast was OK except whenever demand was high they ran out of food and only had one staffer to replenish and caused a long wait for food adding to the inconvenience.
Just needed a room for one night. Room was as expected, simple and clean. Great value considering cost of similar rooms in the area.
