The staf was wonderful, minus the desk clerk that received my call about the lamp and outlet between my bed not working. When I called back that evening, Imani sent someone right away. The drinks were ok, dinner; our fries were cold and although we were the only ones in the dining area, food took a long time. Breakfast wasn't good at all. The heater was filled with caked on dust that blew out everywhere. At first I was able to regulate the thermostat (on auto) then it blew non-stop literally burning my eyes from the dust. The room wasnt cleaned well upon arrival, but not terrible. The pool wasnt heated but they were trying to work on it. The lobby was very nice as well. Unfortunately, I wont stay there again

Unfortunately the heating/cooling unit was quite noisy, the fan in the bathroom remained on despite the all lights being turned off, and one of the towels had a strange order. Not the best of stays at this location.

The hotel has a very cozy vibe which was perfect for the cold winter weather in Schenectady. They have these amazing walnut chocolate chip cookies at the front desk which are complimentary so don’t forget to ask for one. We did go to the bar for a night cap and Adam was amazing with conversation and comfort. The food was not good but the drinks helped that.

Staying at the double tree was my last choice, because Ive stay at the dounle tree before and got bed bugs. Manger accused me if bring them in the hotel. That happen over 5 years ago, my first time coming back and my room was dusty and when you use the microwave the lights in the bathroom flickered on and off. Our refrigerator wasn't working and had to be changed. Also spider webs in the bathroom as well. They need to deep clean all the rooms, I wont be staying there again mark my word.

Room and check in was great. We visited Schenectady to attend a Union College football game. After the game we decided to drink and eat at the hotel. We were approximately 12 people the bar was short on alcohol and could not make espresso martinis and a few other request from the girls in our party ☹️ but the food was great. Morning buffet was mediocre at best we got there at 8:20 the eggs were cold, coffee was empty, pancakes had no sirup available. Overhaul the buffet breakfast was not worth the fee associated with what was available.

The staff at the front desk & cleaning staff were wonderful! Ryan that worked breakfast was so rude the 1st day that I debated returning for day 2 & breakfast was included with our stay. Ryan flung the menus down at us so we left & never returned for our breakfast any of the days left bc of the treatment we received from him. We were there for 4 nights & only ate 1 day. I paid extra to have breakfast so that was quite the let down.

Already knew I was going to have a great experience when I was provided a warm chocolate chip cookie upon check in :) Rooms were clean, quiet and relaxing. Very convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel so I didn't have to leave. Food and drinks were amazing.
