This place is located a bit far from the main city. That is the best part. The surroundings are calm and quiet. Since I went around Christmas time..whole hotel was decorated. I had 2 lake view superior rooms. And the view from the window was too good. It also faces the infinity pool. Food is good...less options but tasty. Management is also nice. The hotel provide shikara and houseboat also. But one must make sure to confirm in advance. As we had a complimentary ride and had already informed the hotel. They said yes just inform us 30min before. But we called them the same day as we were on the way from kovalam that we will reach in 2hrs...but the hotel said that due to heavy rush all the boats are engaged and they can only provide for the next day. But they agreed to provide it in early morning at 6.30 as we had to leave by 8.
We stayed for 2 nights. The Location and Rooms are great. All rooms are lake facing. My kids and self enjoyed the swimming pool a lot. The staff is courteous. The only thing that let us down is the restaurant staff with there slow service and response time. Overall it is a great stay and my family enjoyed being there.
Dear Travellers 1. I stayed two nights in the hotel during 24 Dec to 26 Dec 2017. The only good part of the hotel is its location. 2. I do not recommend the hotel for the following reasons :- (a) Its over priced (I paid Rs 15,000/- per night) as compared to the room facilities provided. The room was provided with absolutely average amenities (room space, TV, AC, flooring, wall colours, curtains, linen, etc) - absolutely not worth the cost charged. (b) The restaurant is average (compared to the costing) with limited variety of ffod and staff. The arrangements, cleanliness, cutlery, laying out of food and beverages and refill is absolutely "AVERAGE". The only solace is that the restaurant is very well located. (c) The so-called gymnasium is having only three equipment's (two treadmills - one is not functional and one cycle). Its was absolutely not expected !!! 3.Finally; the hotel is not Recommended. Please don't waste money. All the Best !!! Thank You. Best Regards
Visited on 05 & 06 Dec-2017. Room was good but if you don't like spell of lemon than don't go as every where they have used the lemon smell. I got headache due to the same. Staff was good. Service is average. Wifi is not so good.
The resort is essentially set in a large, traditional Kerala house in Alleppy. The resort condition is "average" (could have been furnished and decorated better). There is not much to do in the resort though - the Activity Center is very basic, the gym is at best "an apology", etc. The pool is nice, but not enough to hold your attention for a long time. The "resort" is located away from the city, so getting there and back is a challenge (unless you pay lots of money to hotel organized cabs). The best part is that the resort is right at the Vembanand lake. The food at the restaurant is good, and the lunch/dinner buffets are priced affordably. The service is good as well. The resort bills itself as a "luxury" one, and charges prices accordingly. It definitely is NOT a "Luxury" resort, at best a "Mid Range" one.
This is good hotel for the tourist and all tourist attractions like boat ride etc is offered from Hotel itself. Quite value for money Hotel. Loved the Hospitality of the staff and food was good too. If traveling with Family make sure to book bigger rooms.
From Kumarakom we moved to Lemon Tree Vembanad... for one night stay in Dec,2017. The resort is in fact closer to Kumarakom and away from Alleppey city and a bit inside from the main road. The property itself is quite ideally located just on the lake side.It has an old world charm and would be of great liking for those who prefer a calm and quite place for their sojourn. The front office was courteous enough to accede to our request of a first floor room with a direct and clear view of the infinity pool and the lake. The beauty was the great morning and evening views from the room itself. The room was quite spacious with a good decor and all the necessary facilities in the dressing and bathroom. The breakfast and dinner in the Citrus Cafe was tasty and wholesome.Although we were supposed to have a buffet dinner, but because of few guests at that time the staff gave us ample choice from the menu and served whatever we had asked. The morning view of the lake from the restaurant was amazing. Although the staff was very polite, but one particular incident I want to bring to the notice of the hotel management. In the absence of any other sitting place, our cab driver wanted to sit and relax in the lobby area for sometime, but was rudely disallowed by the front desk person. Also the guard did not allow him to park the cab in the shady area. How much he was disturbed could be made out from his utterance,"We are also human beings." I wish the management would look into this small area and provide a comfortable place to sit and relax for the tired cab drivers. Overall a tranquil place to enjoy the beauty of the lake.
Lovely property. backwater view, infinity pool, and sizeable rooms. cleanliness is at par. As we stayed there for two nights, we went for backwater cruising through the canals of Vembanad lake early in the morning which was a pleasant experience followed by scrumptious breakfast. overall, it was a good experience.
It’s a beautiful property located on the Vembanad Lake, around 2 hours drive from Kochi Airport. Rooms are big with wonderful views of the Infinity Swimming Pool and the lake. Breakfast & dinner spread in Citrus Cafe is excellent and the staff especially Amit, Mishra, Ejaz and Arun were very courteous. The front office staff are ever willing to help and go out of the way to make our stay more & more comfortable. Would appreciate the efforts of Raisul, Bikas, Lasitha, Sumit, Arun and Gladvin for their hospitality. Only drawback is that the wifi is free for only 1 hour a day for one device.
Beautiful property. We got an upgrade and thanks to Hotel staff. Ours was lake facing room. Clean and big rooms. Just that options for food was very limited during breakfast and dinner buffet. Otherwise, rest was a pleasant experience! :-)
