Overall, I would not recommend Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an, as this resort had nothing luxury. The food was subpar with very limited options, the alcohol was very cheap and watered down, and our room had dirty towels.
By far the worse and the most boring all inclusive resort I’ve ever been to. Staff wasn’t helpful and had attitudes for idk what reason. They book your restaurant for you without telling you and when the time they booked for you (without asking you) doesn’t work for your schedule, u can’t change it. You have access to all four Bahia resort and to get there you have to take a shuttle which takes forever!!!!! I booked the penthouse suite and when I got there the hot tub was out of date and filthy!!!! Even after they cleaned it I didn’t want to use it. Room service takes forever the restaurants on site only lets you order one entree per guest, I can go on about this bs resort for days but save ya money DONT BOOK THE BAHIA SIAN KA’AN OR ANYWHERE ELSE BAHIA!!!

DO NOT BOOK Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an - Adults Only - All Inclusive!!! As of MARCH 2020, the hotel has been CLOSED due to COVID/the pandemic!! Orbitz still allowed me to book Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an on 4/16/2021, for my trip that was to be scheduled for June 17-20, 2021. No one notified me of the closure. When I arrived in Mexico on June 17, 2021, I was deceived and was forced to stay at a different hotel (Luxury Bahia Principe). At “check in” The receptionist at the Luxury Bahia Principe notified me of the 15 month closure of Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an’s closure due to COVID!!! Orbitz did not notify me and still charged my card. I had a terrible experience with the whole trip. I WANT A FULL REFUND!!!!
I am very upset, I did not book this hotel resort and they put my family and I in it without our permission. I asked more than once is this the right resort b/c i paid for adult all-inclusive and kept seeing children around. Hector kept saying yes, so I assumed maybe it's a big hotel and they have different areas. I laid for a juinor suite penthouse amd when I walked in my room it was notning of what I booked. This is fraud and I intend and demand a full refund. They lied ans took our money. Communication was horrible. Resort blames Orbitz and Orbitz acts like they did not know it closed. Resoet says that the resort I booked since April and has been closed for a year or so. This trip was a disaster amd i would never come back or recommend it to anyone.
Love this place!!!!!! We had such a great time once with my husband alone and then with family!
Pools are not heated. Cold this time of year, would be nice to swim or sit in pool.
Very relaxing. I enjoyed this property being away from the beach. After being on the beach all day it was nice to enjoy the shade and quiteness. L

The resort as a whole not bad at all, staff was really good. The food was as good as it gets. And room really nice and clean. But the Sian kaan section, I wouldn't recommend to anyone it's really far from the beach the shuttle takes forever to arrive especially later on at night, and there's little to none entertainment during the day. For an adult only resort the pools are ridiculously shallow only 4.10ft. I had a good time at the other parts of Bahia Principe but I would not go back, it's just too large of a place.
Despite the unexpected storm that caused daily rain, had a great time. Entertainment committee did great, spa and massages was 👍
