We had a great stay at Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka’an in the Riviera Maya. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a superior suite near the lobby, which was spacious and conveniently located within easy walking distance to the restaurants and buffet. The food quality was excellent for an all-inclusive, with plenty of variety and solid dining options. We also enjoyed having access to the other Bahia Principe resorts via a quick shuttle ride, making it easy to spend time at the beach and take advantage of additional amenities. Dinner reservations and excursions were easy to arrange, which kept the trip stress-free. The Hacienda Market on property was a big plus and made souvenir shopping simple, with lots of options available without leaving the resort. For our final night, we upgraded to a penthouse suite, and it was absolutely worth it. The rooftop jacuzzi and open views of the Riviera Maya sky were the perfect way to end the trip. Overall, Sian Ka’an offers a relaxing atmosphere, great food, and convenient access to everything you’d want for a Mexico getaway!

Great trip at huge sprawling resort. Been many times over the years. They are becoming more money conscious at the resort and it is tiered facilities now. Stayed at the luxurious adults only, and was able to use all facilities, everywhere. Met lots of dusgruntled people who weren't 'luxury' and had restricted access to some areas. You clearly only get what you pay for. Also why should I pay $30 extra to go to an evening 'pool party' at one of the Lobbies, when I am all-inclusive? Evening entertainment was still very good. . .. I had a great time

We paid just over $400 per night and found the experience did not align with how this property is marketed or priced. We’ve traveled to Mexico many times across a wide range of resorts, and this was one of the most disappointing stays relative to cost. Our first room had a strong cigarette and insect spray odor. The bathroom floors were visibly dirty, the shower head sprayed toward the wall and door, the curtains did not fully close, and the bed had only a thin sheet with no proper bedding. After requesting a room change, the second room appeared cleaner but had a persistent sewage/urine odor and significant noise throughout the night. Early morning construction directly outside the building involved loud hammering that disrupted sleep. Several in-room items raised concerns, including shampoo that appeared diluted, lotion with an off or spoiled smell, and towels that did not seem clean. Dining was also problematic. Multiple dinner reservations were lost or incorrect, and during the stay I became ill with symptoms consistent with food poisoning, which prevented us from enjoying amenities we had paid for and required purchasing medication on property. The accommodations did not resemble the photos advertised online, creating a noticeable gap between expectation and reality. At this price point, the experience did not deliver what was advertised.

While this is a wonderful property, it is not safe. We had cash stolen from our room. We would have put it in the safe, but it was not working and repeated requests to have it fixed were never answered. To make matters worse, security came in and, without our permission, started searching our room, including asking us to open our own wallets. In other words, they were insinuating that we we making a false report. Days later, they said they found no one entered our room because no key card was used. Keep in mind, housekeeping here routinely keep doors wide open in rooms while cleaning, or cleaning nearby rooms, often leaving them unoccupied with the door open. On our return we found out that the Canadian Government and U.S. State Department have issued travel advisories in this area due to crime. I will add that the resort itself is beautiful and quiet.

Overall a good experience. Theres other hotels associated with Sian kaan so you can visit them all. Rooms were a bit outdated but did the trick. (FYI the pillows are tiny)

Buffet food could be significantly improved. Restaurant booking process was not great with all bookings being filled before arriving. It was a nice resort but did not meet the premium price level

Staff are very friendly and attentive, the mini bar was always well stocked, and the housekeeping went above and beyond to make our room tidy and clean everyday! The Spa was a definite highlight! Some of the best treatments I've ever had, I highly reccomended the Mayan Massage Experience! This was our first all inclusive experience, and I dont think it will be our last!
