This was our fourth visit to the resort. We were initially hesitant to return since our previous experiences had been somewhat bland. However, this time was completely different — from the moment we arrived, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality. Samantha made our check-in seamless and even arranged for us to get our rooms earlier than expected. She was very thorough in explaining all our VIP perks. We received a pink wristband that granted us access to the three sister resorts, which was a wonderful bonus. Thank you, Samantha, for your exceptional service! Alondra made magic happen for our Sofía and arranged for a late checkout. Thank you, Alondra, for your extraordinary service! Tomas and Mauricio (Kukulcan), Eddy (Portofino), and Fabian (Akumal Buffet) went above and beyond to make Sofía's birthday extra special. We truly appreciate the kindness and attention they showed us. We also visited BPG Akumal and BPG Tulum, and each resort had its own unique charm. Our granddaughter especially enjoyed the waterpark at BPG Coba, the beach at Akumal, and the pool at Tulum. The grounds were immaculate, the beach was beautiful, the pools and rooms were spotless, and the food and drinks were fantastic. We’re already looking forward to returning!

The check-in process with Armando was smooth and welcoming, he was friendly, efficient, and very courteous. He went above and beyond to accommodate our family’s needs, which made a great first impression. Our room was excellent, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The entertainment team was fantastic, bringing so much energy and fun to the resort. The only area that could use improvement is the dining and bar service. While the food itself was decent, the service was sometimes slow and could be more attentive. The buffet need more food variety. With a little more focus in this area, the overall experience would be exceptional. Despite that, we’re happy with our stay and would consider returning in the future.

We recently stayed at this beautiful resort in the Riviera Maya and overall had a wonderful experience. Something mis-leading is you only get to eat for free at one resort restaurant once for free per resort stay. You can eat at the buffet as much as you want. But when I’m paying for an all inclusive that should mean also to all the restaurant options.

Food was ok, not good nor great just ok, not too many options for kids either. There was nothing to control mosquitoes on the property, and yes I know is nature but there are so many things now days to control plagues. Oh, and bed had mites! At least we were out of the hotel most of the time. Only good thing was that the kids enjoyed the kids water park.

Has its old charm but the property needs a whole work up. Staff at the front reception and guest services were not receptive of guests’ complaints. They were not friendly and tried to solve problems by offering compensation instead of solving the problem to make my stay comfortable. I would not recommend anyone to stay there until the whole resort is renovated.

What a beautiful resort to spend our honeymoon! We purchased the 4-technique Mayan massage experience with Adalberta and Pillar, both wonderful humans and helped us truly relax! One of our favourite servers at the buffet (Miguel) was such a pleasure to meet. He made sure we never went thirsty, and even gave us little gifts to bring home! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We only got to try 2 out of 3 a la carte restaurants, but Portofino and Le Gourmet were ABSOLUTELY fantastic!! The buffet also had excellent choices, and fun themed special drinks upon entry each night! :) The silent disco was so much fun! Thank you all so much for making our honeymoon an unforgettable trip.

It took a while upon arrival to get checked in and the people mover transport to the other properties on the resorts were unreliable, the Executive Club husslers were eager to jump on you when you went through the lobby, but other than that everything was wonderful. Having the hacienda on the property was a lovely extra touch and having the VIP bracelet that meant we could visit the other properties meant that we could move around to whichever property had the event that evening that we wanted to.

It is way too big in this property and you need to rely on shuttle service to go everywhere. There are some shuttles that will pass you by and the shuttle service is very confusing. There are some people that might be tipping them really big and therefore they pick up some people more than others. They will pass you by time and time again and tell you that it’s too full or that they will come back and get you. The specialty restaurants had no availability. I tried to get on and book way in advance of even coming to the resort and everything just is too difficult and too complicated. The Akumal was the best resort. I wish I would’ve stayed there instead. The rooms in coba are nice The beach was really rough. They do have a little protection against the waves, but the seaweed under your feet and the rockiness was not nice. I’m accustomed to walking on white powder sand and I had to wear water shoes to walk around the beach. It was cloudy and you couldn’t really see through the water that well. Wasn’t really a good beach. I think this beach is good for the purpose that my daughter went, which was to see the turtles. The drinks in the restaurant tasted horrible. Every single drink was horrible. The food was not good at all. Very terrible buffet food. Akumal had better food. We even got food poisoning. Every single one of us had travelers diarrhea. I think it was the smoothies they made with their own water. I won’t return.
