The overall property is okay. If you’re looking for luxury this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a basic stay this is the place. The resort is huge & a trolley is supposed to pick up 10 mins to take you to different parts of the resort but it def takes longer than that. It takes 30-40 mins to get to Tulum. The Cenotes are 13 min down the road which is nice.
Charged unexpected fees upon arrival and no designated area for smokers so felt like he were in a big ash tray at times
Brilliant. Huge resort, lots of classes, tours, and entertainment. Varied buffet, can book restaurants too. Swim up bars, sports, outside bar, and lobby bar. Two main big pools and lots of small jet pools. Animals and nature are incredible too. Only thing missing is a proper club. Staff are great at Coba. Recommend doing the luxury band last two days of vacation to use Akumal infinity pool and beach.
Good food. Extremely poor management
Loved everything! Great staff & experience!
Staff and service was unacceptable. Safety was not a priority for the workers
6th trip to mexico in past 12 years. Worst place I have stayed at. Horrible customer service. I would suggest staying at Tres rios or grand palladium over this place.
Was a nice place to stay with the family
Loved coba, love all the different pools, and loveeed the water park for the kids, not to big and complicated! Also enjoyed the small restaurant “snack bar” near the pool, very convenient. Cons: not on the beach, have to take a small like golf cart ride to go to the beach, and the beach was small and overpacked, 2nd- didn’t like the hotel room at all, seemed somewhat runned down and had a stench.. the property itself was beautiful
Everything was beautiful
The property is beautiful! Love the jungle feeling, seeing the different animals. The staff are friendly and very hard working!
Service was horrible; you have to take carts to the beach! Beach is so crowed! Nobody walking around offering any drinks. The people that work there are racist and only help white tourist first I want a full refund or I’ll call my bank
This was a very relaxing and low key resort. The food was AMAZING. We’re picky eaters so we knew the specialty restaurants weren’t our thing. We ate at the buffet every night and it was SO GOOD. The staff at the swim up bar near 25A were great. We wanted to relax and enjoy our time and that’s exactly what we got at this resort. The beach area that you have to ride a trolley to, the beach is VERY ROCKY. So if you’re looking for a beach vacation this isn’t the spot. We spent a half day at the beach and found we loved the pool much better, but again, personal preference. The rooms were clean, and the drinks were always made to how we liked. The shows at night were AMAZING. The rock show and the 90’s were just so much fun to watch. If you’re looking to save a little $, yet get a good resort, this is it. We were very happy with this resort.
There are a # of things I wish I knew before going to this resort. None of them would prevent me from returning. 1. surprise money-grab "tax" charged upon arrival 2. got 3 different answers from the resort employees about the required covid testing (to return to the US) and all 3 answers were incorrect 3. the 3rd party they use for the covid testing, they have a website to schedule the tests but it also gives conflicting information about when and how to expect your results and gives no guidance on which test type u should select and no confirmation email so u are left wondering if the scheduling actually got recorded on their side 4. when they finally do email u your results, since they didn't tell u ahead of time who would be sending it, it's likely it'll get routed by your email client to the "Junk" folder so that also adds more confusion to the process
