So the property was under renovation during my stay. Ok fine. When you walk in there was a sheet of plastic as a backdrop covering the hallway that you simply can not miss. Again fine. They had signage stating that breakfast was moved to the lobby due to the construction. Breakfast is literally 10 ft away from the plastic barrier wall. Continental breakfast was pretty standard; coffee muffins, milk, juice, and 2 catering chauffeurs for hot items. Given the "construction'' started at 8 or 830 I just didn't feel I should partake in anything before I left. My room was beautiful (newly renovated on the second floor) however, half of the channels did not work on the tv. Not a big deal for me but still. My room faced the highway and the windows didn't do much at all to dampen the sound of the passers by. The sound inside the room was tolerable. For some reason, someone thought it would be a good idea to fire up some equipment and move it across the parking lot at 4 am at a snails pace. Again, windows didn't do much for the highway so imagine the noise coming from basically underneath your window. Lastly, come time for check out I asked for a printed receipt as I was only there for work and wanted a paper copy for my for reimbursement. The front desk refused since I used Orbitz/ Expedia. I book IHG hotels all the time exactly the same way and get a paper copy every time without fail. I was told they could not because of price difference due to 3rd party booking. Won't be going back.
The updates are coming along great. The room was especially clean and fresh. Lots of dining options close by and a short drive to the wedding venue we went to.
Newly renovated rooms. Still some things, like gym, under renovation.
Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Room was nice. Would have rather been on non-expressway side with a little less noise.

This is a very clean and well-staffed property!! We stayed 5 nights and encountered no issues at all!! Check-in was quick. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. A very nice assortment of breakfast foods, including hot items, are offered each morning. Evening snacks are also offered at no additional cost. It was also great to have a full-service restaurant complex right next door for our family gathering. We would highly recommend this hotel!!!!

We had a good experience here. The only negative thing I would say is that the pool is extremely small. I wouldn’t even call it a pool... but other than that everything else was great.
The employees were friendly. It had a good breakfast available, with friendly employees working it. For other food choices, the restaurant next door was very good too.
Very nice and troublefree. My only gripe is that the pool is laughably small. Don't bring a bathing suit and expect to do laps. But the Comfort Inn next door was just as small.
The hotel was comfortable with nice amenities. The location was ideal for our stay.
We had to ask for maid service two days in a row. After that the room was done each day. We were on the bottom floor at the end of the hall which was nice but we could not close the curtain to block out the highway traffic. The pool was not even big enough to get in!
Friendly hotel staff, room clean snd bed very comfortable. Close to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely be back.
Arrived Friday, 5/24/13, after a 7.5 hr drive. The two men at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. When I found out that the room did not have a refrigerator for storing my medication, they transferred me to one that did at no extra cost. They advised on the eating establishment next door and their recommendation was totally right. Had a lovely dinner there. The rooms were VERY nice: clean and spacious compared to some other places I have stayed. Bed was firm and comfortable. I had booked my sister into the same hotel and we met for breakfast. Breakfast was hot, had enough variety and was tasty. Coffee was great. Was there to visit relatives in Barberton, OH (which was just 10 min away) and to attend a graduation party for one of them in Akron (which was just 15 min away).
Very convenient for us location wise; had to go to gathering in Barberton. Room was clean, bed comfortable and they kept the dining room clean and refilled food as it was gone. Overall, would recommend this hotel for family or business. Also, located directly next door to great Galaxy restaurant. Food was good and had several rooms, fine dining or pub area. The menu is pretty much the same for both locations. they also had carry out if desired. So all good!
I spend two nights at the hotel while in business/pleasure trip visiting AA convention in Akron with friends.The hotel was very clean, comfortable and in good location.The only thing was too small pool. To best describe our attitude about this hotel was a comment of one of my friends that they will certainly come back there next year.
Staff was great at checkin but found out just when we were going down to breakfast that they were shutting our water off in 40 minutes. We had to change our plans and quickly shower and rush down to breakfast before it ended. There was no apology or compensation like extending breakfast or a discount or offering IHG points
