Spent 8 nights at the hotel. The power went out in our room at least 3 to 4 times a day. The private beach has a lot of rubbish pulled up on the right side and rubbish floating in the water that the attendants don't seem to care about. The staff are nice though but there is no way that this hotel should have a 4 star rating.
Booked through Orbitz and turned up at the desk and was told I did not have a reservation. After 30 mins of convincing the front desk and showing my Orbitz booking they finally checked us in - was very frustrated at the lack of respect that I indeed had a reservation. Arrived at my One Bedroom Suite to find water stains under 2 of the 3 air conditioners, a dining room table that was very dirty. The bed was like a rock and made for a very un-restful sleep for all of us. We had a stroller and the building was not conducive to infants, in-fact all the buildings bar the main building we had to carry the stroller up and down the stairs. we had to push our stroller on the road as the sidewalks where not conducive to strollers and if you have a wheelchair you will be pushing it on the road. The only grace for the hotel is the staff who are extremely friendly. we played golf twice which was a pleasant experience. Overall not a 4 star resort. I'm a Executive Platinum with Marriot and Gold with Hilton. This resort is a stretch for a 3 star and no where near a 4 star resort.
My room was made up every day, however never cleaned on the floor. After showering my feet will get black if I didn't put my slippers and their slippers were too small for my feet.
Room had leaky air condition but that could have just happened, no hot water, blow dryer that was not working, towels that where old and dark in color which i would expect in a motel. And for some reason the bathroom toilet was leaking. So they moved us to another room. I would stay away from the food but then again its probably like this all over in the Philippines. Bunch of flies in the buffet and i saw little birds eating some of the food as well and then flying away. I don't know the item they where eating but that just made me stop as i didn't want to get sick.
awful experience. will not recommend. will not stay here ever again,
The vilal we stayed in was ok but most of the villas needs major renovation. They were not accommodating at all. Everything is for a fee. They charge unrealistically. Internet is NOT free. Airport service NOT free. Even going to the main beach early in the morning is NOT free.
