Outstanding hotel close enough to white beach but far enough away to be secluded. 6 or 7 different pools and bars that satisfy all tastes. Great golf courses. Great staff, amazing food and menu. Breakfast especially.

The hotel is fantastic and the staff so attentive. The time we were there, they only really catered for the Asia guests, which was understandable because they was there for their new year celebrations, which were excellent. The free transport around the hotel and down to dmall was great. Be aware as the d mall gets very busy at night,so you might be waiting for transport back to the hotel a while, but there plenty of bike taxis and they quite cheap.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 days, this was the first island we stopped at in the Philippines and was a means to relax after a long journey from London. The resort is made up of many different hotels, a golf course, many pools, a beach and lots of activities for during the day and night. The complex was excellent; clean, professional safe, great customer service. The food was good and lots of activities to get involved in. We did; horse riding (wouldn’t recommend), the zip-wire (it was good), the pool party (cocktail drinking in the pool overlooking the sea view – EXCELLENT). Although lots to do…it is very over priced, you can get the same service, quality of food and activities outside of the resort in the main part of town – if you want to do that! But it was a great place to unwind and relax.

This is our ultimate vacation resort while in Boracay! This was the fourth time that my wife and I stayed in Fairways and Bluewater Resort. Although we only stayed 4 days last year, I was able to play golf three days and we were able to relax and enjoy all the resort amenities, to include the private beach (Ilig-iligan beach), the infinity pools, the restaurants, the spa treatment and playing golf of course. This time though, we brought along my wife’s BFF Jean and her husband also so they'd be able to experience the kind of service that Fairways had to offer. The room they book us in was just perfect 1 bedroom corner unit in the quiet area and new Sycamore building overlooking the golf course fairway, which was just a few minutes’ walk from the main gate and the main reception area. The staff at this resort were just awesome and were very accommodating. Also, the best part of this resort was the breakfast at Laguna Cafe (which is our favorite) every morning was just awesome. Overall, we would still choose Fairways Bluewater whenever we are in Boracay. We can't wait to go back on our next trip!

Prob the most convenient hotel to stay in boracay in order to have easy access to down town D'Mall area as well as good beaches. Clean and accurate (as per promotional material online and offline). Great pools (6 in total), restaurants (not local cuisine unfortunately) and gym

Great resort! Perfect place to relax and pamper yourself out..Need not to say that the beach resort was really fantastic..The rooms are quite big and views are extremely breathtaking..plus a wide range to choose with their pools..will definitely recommend the place

Overall great resort but some of the amenities were lacking as compared to other timeshare resorts we have been. I was put off by... - The pool towel situation (1 per person pick-up and return required at same pool daily, write down names, non-refundable charge at front desk, and they are just poor quality) - Lack of apartment kitchen utensils/appliances and no cooking in kitchen (no blender, toaster, pans, etc.) - Convenience store (there is one on site but it is run by a 3rd party and very limited. Only ATMs are there and we could never get them to work which made money more complicated. Better to walk across the street to the City Mall which has a grocery store and 7-Eleven.) - Structural issues (leak in bathroom we called about and was "fixed" but continued to get floor wet. Shower heads were old and squirted all over the place. Sidewalks in resort are crumbling.) - Beach and pool chairs are just awful! There are some really great things about the resort like the beach, the variety of pools, the golf course, the zip line (so fun! but kinda spendy), free shuttle to the D-Mall, good food at restaurants. Most of all we enjoyed the staff...we found all of them helpful and pleasant.

My wife & I stayed at this huge resort in June this year & was very impressed from day one right up until the last day when things went sour. We awoke to find the toilet was full nearly to the top for no obvious reason. My wife & I always use minimum toilet paper when travelling as we are aware plumbing is not up to western standards. So the first call to reception was around 7.30am then at 10am & still no response even after being assured each time 'it has been reported'. We had to use the toilet at reception & also to sponge ourselves due to the stench from the bathroom. Finally, some time after 12 o'clock & still no maintenance person I demanded to see the manager. A supervisor accompanied us back to our room along with a house maid that had a flimsy rubber suction tool in her hand. Upon inspection the house maid surprisingly remarked that this toilet was 'always blocking up'. So they knew about it but never bothered to fix it & they still booked guests into this room. What a bloody disgrace for a 5 star resort. Of course we were offered another room in a different wing but with time wasted with reception & packing & unpacking, our last day was a complete right off. On a lighter note, one should add an extra p850 per person (one way) to the overall bill for their fast boat taxi from the airport to the resort & straight to your room handling all of your luggage. Getting there by shanks pony would be very hard considering the distance from the 3 stations & the confusing directions inside this huge resort.

This is look like a city. Almost six swimming pools. Have a privet beach. The bad things is you have to pay for ur extra guests. Also they have to increases the shuttle times . Most the time is full . Especially from Koreans and Chinese. But still the best #DrMoAlassiri

Let me start with the resume first: Our marriage was fantastic, a dream, a miracle and genius. My wife and me, we have choosen the Fairways & Bluewaters Golf Resort due to their unique location on the island Boracay. We wanted a romantic and still sophisticated beach wedding. The Resort has its own secluded beach and bay. Strong winds can not affect the area that much. The beach itself is perfect sand and has a lovely view. As there are not many people on the beach we had our full privacy. The ceremony was held in the afternoon by pastor Angelo. Me and all our guests had tears of emotions in our eyes. The Hotel provided us all the chairs for our guests on the beach. And of course the beautiful, with fresh flowers decorated, canopy. During the wedding we could use the sound equipment of the hotel on the beach and their wedding singer was singing romantic songs. The ceremony took about 40 minutes and after all our guests were provided with drinks on the beach by the staff of the hotel. Our fotographer Joel Juliano and his wife from Kalibo continued the marvelous foto session on the beach. It had started already in the morning at 11 when his 4 fotographers started to picture us and all our clothes in detail in our huge wedding room. But here on the beach they really opened up and produced dream like fotos and videos. They are professionals. Right after sunset a group of macho firedancers performed on the beach. We applied a couple of month before our wedding for our date. The Fairways & Bluewaters offers a wedding package that includes almost everything. Not many extras to be paid. The package includes approximately 5 hours of full service from 8-10 servants plus another group of technicians and background staff who marvelously decorated the Old Family Clubhouse which is directly situated on top of the beach. My wife engaged extra a 6 member live band "Makaya" that played on the outside terrace. There we also could dance until midnight. The staff supplied 6 super strong fans so that dancing was a real joy. For an additional payment we could also have chosen the option to party until 2 am. The resort has enough decent hotel rooms to provide to all our guests. Some stayed inside this vast and beautiful, green and quiet Resort and others booked in different hotels or villas. We were about 50 guests at the Old Family Club House and had enough space to perform our dancing inside and outside. As an attraction we engaged a bigger dance group. About 4 days before our venue we came together with Mr. Art and Mr. Kenjie who are in charge of everything concerning the event. 2 days before we had another meeting with the event managers to do the fine tuning. For lighting, decorating, flowers, wedding procedure and installation of the live band. An absolutely professional group who made us relax. We had an extensive food testing, where we could comment on every flavor. The food is soft, superbly cooked and of an incredible variety. We and our guests were 100% satisfied. Drinks and also wines are included in the package, but not hard drinks. So we ordered a full bar for our guests and the barkeeper had a lot to do. During the breaks of the Makaja live band the DJ Alfred "Freddy" was mixing, playing our favorite songs. So we had music all the time and we danced without stop the entire night. Some of my guests said that it was the best party of their life. Due to all the people of Fairways & Bluewaters we could have such a celebrity like wedding. But most important were our families and friends who attended so joyful our wedding. Thank you for coming from nearly all over the world to Boracay. Best wishes Stefan & Annabelle
