Nice apartment

This apartment is located in an attic which means that the ceiling is sloped, making it difficult for a taller person. Air conditioning is provided and is a necessity. The location isn't ideal since it is quite a walk to the center of town. Otherwise, the host is warm, friendly and very helpful. I would recommend her property.

Ardelle is the most charming and delightful hostess. What you see on the website and her separate website is not what you get. You do not get the lovely terrace. It is there but private. The kitchen is probably the worst equipped of any place we have ever rented. There are no drawers. No wardrobe. There is a rickety rail but as the bedroom ceiling slopes down to under a metre in height you have to put it in the bit you want to live in. In front of the TV. The person on the left side of the bed has to crawl in and out. You knock your head frequently on the low beam. The sofa is a sofa bed and uncomfy. The terrace has a dreadful view and no through breeze so it is very hot. There is a barbecue but you are not allowed to use it. Shall I go on.? Would I book it again? Not at that price I wouldn’t .

Clean and convenient

Arlette was very welcoming. This rental was great for 2 people. It was close to a grocery store and about 15 min walk to old town Aix. It was also on the bus line. We parked our car in her driveway and walked every where. Nice deck to enjoy meals outside.

This charming residence was charming! The owners, Arlette and Herve made us feel so welcome and offered suggestions for our exploration of Provence. We particularly Loved the village of Cassis and our exploration of the lavendar in Valensole as well as the charming village of Moustiers! The terrase offered a lovely place to have morning coffee and the pool was a welcome refreahment after a day of exploring the area. A short walk to market...also convenient! Will be back! Zentrumsnah und trotzdem ruhig

Ich war für einen Sprachkurs zwei Wochen in Aix und die Wohnung erwies sich als ideal: zu Fuß knapp 15 Minuten durch den Parc de la Torse (sehr schön) zur Schule, knapp 15 Minuten ins Zentrum von Aix, knapp 2 Minuten zum Bäcker, 1 Minute zum Einkaufsmarkt; ich habe das Auto kein einziges Mal gebraucht. Dazu zur Erholung das Schwimmbad. Die Wohnung ist sehr funktional und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Fernseher und Geschirrspüler fehlen zwar, wurden aber nicht vermisst. Sehr gute Internet-WLAN-Verbindung. Bett erfreulich gut, Bettwäsche wird von der Vermieterin gestellt, ebenso die Badhandtücher. Die Vermieterin Arlette ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie wohnt im selben Haus und steht für alle Fragen und Wünsche zur Verfügung. Wenn es zeitlich klappt, komme ich nächstes Jahr wieder.
