Let me start with saying we were staying on an all-inclusive deal there during a period of "unusual misty period" following an hurricane out to sea that we unfortunately caught the tail end of. The hotel can not be held accountable for this. We arrived to a friendly welcome about 2030 and, after paying the extra little charge and being shown to our rooms, we had enough time to make the evening meal slot. Nicely laid out and clear what meats you were eating... especially when a chicken picture is placed above an obvious fish dish! We were impressed with the food selection that was available for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Alongside the regular dishes were a couple of variations. We were able to eat something different each day and didn't have the need to go find another restaurant. The food was tasty, personally I enjoyed the al fresco lunches the most. There was always fresh fruit available at every sitting, and for those less adventurous some Italian or chips. Drinks, the house wine is... palatable. The beer was nice, the cocktails... well they are cheap spirits... the Moroccan Tea was lovely. The hotel is showing signs of being dated and could do with a spruce up in places, but the room was ok. Yes cleaning was not spot on, and the mattress sheets are not fitted and not an ideal size to stay on the bed during the night if you are a wriggler! Access to the beach was easy, and the sunset view from the piano bar area was lovely. The pool area (underused by us due to the weather) was open and clean. The Entertainment staff are very friendly, and if you make the effort they feel like friends... in fact, all the waiting and cleaning staff that we came in contact with were all very friendly... even the reception staff knew our room numbers by the 3rd day... I think we may have been the only ones that gave our keys in every time we left the hotel! They have a shuttle service for free to take you to local places in town and collect you back again at an agreed time. Worth it to get to the Marina, town centre or Souk quickly. Evening entertainment... it is a very strange experience for us Brits to now be allowed to smoke inside a building, and being a smoker myself it didn't bother me, but it did make for an odour around the hotel, that said doors are always open and there is fresh air blowing through at all times... sorry, I distracted from the entertainment. The 2 girls were very good, but the same songs for at least 3 out of the 7 nights we were there was a bit repetitive even if they were in a different order, it would be better if they did like 70's one night, 80's another & modern pop just to make it feel different. The Moroccan music & players were good too. The soft sandy beach was a pleasure to walk along, agreed there are camel droppings, but if you go to an area that does evening beach camel excursions then it is to be expected, and again is not the hotels remit. In conclusion, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Enjoyed the food. Felt welcomed and relaxed. I would recommend to others, just be mindful that you do get what you pay for... it isn't the Tikida Palace!!
Room average. Pool nice. Beach very close although the sunbeds in bad condition. Food very bad. Breakfast very very poor- no fruit (only grapefruits). We expected to try some maroccan food however there wasnt much to try. The service was alright, staff nice and kind. We expected a lot more!
I came here after visiting earlier in the year. My first stay here was so good which is why I decided to return. On my trip there this month I had to pay extra at the hotel. My flight meant I arrived in the early hours of the morning and after sending numerous emails to inform them. I was never told there would be extra charges but to my surprise there was. I was spoken to by 3 men at like 2am in the morning one was intoxicated and he spoke to me quite aggressively all had the same attitude I have to pay more as although it was 27th in there calendar it was still 26th make no sense but I understood what they were saying. Had natalie at the Hotel who was responding to my emails informed me of this I would not of had a problem. The hotel then said they had upgraded my room but the room looked very basic similar to what I had stayed in before. The room was very close to the main reception as the hotel is very large so we at the beginning was happy about that until..... the evening entertainment oh no not the same songs over and over every night. I dared not complain after the welcoming we had at the start of our special holiday. The food was the same morning and evening with the exception of being able to go to the restaurant which by the way are lovely. The best thing about this hotel is that it is on the beach the staff are great minus the odd 2 that spoil it for the rest. The waiters are amazing so are the cleaners etc. Wish I got to see the wonderful lady on the reception from my previous staff she was amazing. The other woman they have there never smiles and looks very unwelcoming for a receptionist. The animation team could do with some improvements as there was nothing to do in the day time at the hotel so we spent alot of time on exscertions and walks along the beach. Everyone gives you a much higher price so haggle it down to at least 1/3 of what they ask for. And prepare to be harrasted by everyone selling something.
Exterior in front and the lobby are beautiful, but that is where it stops, The hotel is in dire need of a remake , The room very ordinary the bed was horrible , the safe was broken , our view was overlooking a shed . Thank goodness we stayed there only one night
This is only a three star hotel at best. The hotel smells of damp and smoke. The beach in agadir is not clean and the sea has rubbish in it. The sun didn't shine all week and it was foggy every day with sea mist. Totally disappointed.
We have just returned from the Beach Club Hotel after a three week stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and the Hotel was spotlessly clean. The animation team were excellent and their dancing first class. The two ladies and guitarist who performed most evenings were superb and a very special thanks to them for learning the lyrics of my favourite song, Lady in Red. You sang it beautifully and I hope you continue to do so. I would certainly recommend this holiday.
The hotel is in a prime location, on the beach and with plenty of great restaurants within 2 minutes walk. The animation team of Mehdi and Ali were both superb, they were both great guys who put a smile on everyone's face. However, do not go to the nighclub in the hotel! It is called Flamingo's and we fell victim due to it's proximity. Staff were rude and nearly started a fight as they gave us a bright green drink when we asked for a Bailey's. Avoid this club! However, apart from the terrible Flamingo's it is a lovely hotel, though the dining options are far better outside the hotel. Great animation team, they really deserve a tip for all their work, but Flamingo's is terrible. AVOID THIS NIGHTCLUB, it is a scam with aggressive staff and no atmosphere. I'd invite the staff there to come to England and behave the same and see how well they get on. Nothing is free in Agadir except a smile (as Mehdi said) but the Flamingo's staff are scammers who act like they run a superclub despite only having 6 customers. This nightclub ruins an otherwise excellent hotel.
After reading some reviews we were wary of our visit with a big group, we were very pleasantly surprised. Lovely traditional decor with beautiful hand painted panels and doors. We upgraded to a suite which was fabulous and well worth the small cost. We found breakfast tasty with a good selection, the pool and beach areas were lovely as very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and we didn’t have any issue bringing bottled water into the hotel. Housekeeping fantastic and room was spotlessly clean. The whole hotel has a lovely laid back relaxed atmosphere.
My family & I are in love with every single detail of this hotel located on the beachfront in Agadir. the rooms, the staff, the food are ALL INCREDIBLE. I would highly recommend this hotel, that is absolutely amazing!!
Fantastic hotel with fantastic, kind, helpful and polite staff who will do anything for guests if asked. Great atmosphere and positive morale amongst staff who make a great team. Abdulla and his Reception team are amazing and so kind to us from the time we arrived until we left. He is very helpful and friendly. You can enjoy so many activities within the hotel complex. The Animation team at the pool are great. We really enjoyed aqua aerobics and my baby daughter loved dance club. They treat children like Kings and Queens which is how it should be. The meals and breakfast buffet are amazing. They cater for people with all diets and preferences. Chefs and waiters and waitresses are great.
