Checked in yesterday with my family for 5 nights. All going well except No internet is available in our Room which is quite upsetting, although I was given a password to use for No internet in the rooms. No one is doing anything about it !!. I asked for the person in charge and the reply was what would he do for you? Abdulla at Reception is a quite helpful guy but that does not solve the internet issue. The price paid, is quite exorbitant for the current state of the hotel. Generally most hotels are not cheap in Agadir. Hotel location is excellent but Overall, the hotel need complete refurbishment.
Just checked on. Room a disgrace. Smells of damp. Furnishings at least 30 years old. Safe not working. Had to wait nearly an hour for the technician to arrive. Plug in handbasin not working. Stuck down so handbasin does not empty. Fridge completely frozen so not working. No tea coffee facilities in the room. Room unclean. No spare power points as hotel is ancient & hasn't been upgraded. Will need to unplug the broken fridge & some ancient lamps in order to plug in devices to be charged. Just came from a lovely hotel in marrakech, so disappointed. DO NOT BOOK THE AGADIR BEACH CLUB HOTEL! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
This hotel would of been nice 20 years ago. Having come from Hotel Timoulay which is actually cheaper and far superior to this old hotel. The rooms are lacking power points no kettle which is important for most of the guests, because most of them have kids or toddlers. The bathroom did have a nice rusty bottle opener. Don't bother with the breakfast if you do go before 9am. If you go after 9am you can witness the chaos of humanity. Only positives the waiting staff are very nice and the girls who run the kids club. The location is good, but that's about it. Needs to be knocked down.
We stayed at this hotel for two weeks during July 2017. We had a family room for me, my wife and our three kids. I have no idea why this hotel only has three and a half stars on its reviews - We absolutely loved it and would love to go back. Some people have mentioned that the hotel is dated - it's style is traditional morrocan with a hint of old world glamour. An absolutely amazing building. The pool staff are great, very friendly and amazing with the kids. The pool bar staff could not be more helpful. The beach is right next door to the hotel with a private section just for the hotel. We stayed half board and there is a great choice of food across all the restaurants - I would recommend the morrocan restaurant especially! There is also entertainment for the kids and adults if you want to join in, but absolutely no pressure if you just want to relax. The room was a good size, lovely and clean and the cleaners did a great job every day sorting out our families mess! A massive thanks to Saeed in the buffet area, Abdullah on reception and Saeed from the animation team - all of them are an asset to the hotel and give great customer service.
On arrival the hotel looked nice our room was great very big separate bedroom and living room. The balcony way massive. Only down side was there was no view. The pools were big staff friendly. We had all inclusive. Food was OK morning breakfast was ok not a big variety. Fried Eggs were raw so I wouldn't eat them and the boiled eggs were totally raw. Dinner and lunch was ok. More dessert would be nice.
The hotel beach club Agadir is located on the beach front. Perfect location. The beach & the sea at your door step. The staff are amazing. Our thanks to Yonis, Yaseen & Mohammed & other reception staff, you guys are great. Keep up the good work. Our special thanks goes to all the cleaning ladies for keeping our rooms clean & tidy. Our thanks also goes out to the catering staff for providing a super service during breakfast time for being alert & putting the guests first. The breakfast is super with good choice and excellent value. The hotel is a big hotel offering a range of complimentary services from a gym to a very large swimming pool. The kids club is brilliant. We were not with our children but as an observation it was superb. Very organised & with dedicated staff. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel.
Staying with family in Morocco for over a month, we knew we'd want a few days here and there to chill...this hotel is on the beach and has an awesome pool area. The staff and food are fantastic, but the rooms are tired. That being said - my North American blow dryer shorted out the room electrics (whoops!) and they had a handyman up to my room stat...so points there for sure, cuz it was New Years Eve and I needed my hair done! The price is right, location central and it was clean. Stay here!
Very friendly staff, abdullah front office manager was outstanding he take good care of us,also pool service was amazing big thank you to Hamid who give a good service,my family enjoyed the breakfast buffet with wide variety of Moroccan food ,definitely will be back again to beach club hotel:)
Our usual two weeks abroad and this time based in one place instead of moving around. On arrival the hotel seemed calm and organised. Check in took only a few minutes and we were shown up to our room by a chatty porter. Unfortunately, he chatted away in French, whilst we never passed school level, but we got there. Our double room was on the third floor facing the lovely wide promenade and the even wider beach. The room itself was sufficiently big, with separate bathroom and toilet. A day bed on one wall and ample storage for clothing and a writing desk, drawers and a tv took another wall. More than adequate. The buffet breakfast was very good. Just about every choice was covered, with copious amounts of coffee, tea and orange juice available. Breakfast could be eaten in the dining room or outside on the terrace. Next to the terrace is a good size swimming pool with clearly marked depths. The gardens are tidy and well maintained. Waiters are always available to cater for your every need. The private beach opposite the hotel has table service too, with mattresses being brought out as soon as you arrive on the beach. The hotel is clean and although some parts are in need of a touch up the overall impression is one of a well looked after environment. We only ate in the hotel once at night during our 2 week stay. 200 dirhams for a buffet dinner seemed a little pricy, but the meal was ok. Nothing special. Bear in mind that this is not a top of the range hotel, and you get what you pay for. Having said that, we were more than pleased with everything. The staff are friendly and accommodating. When we lost an important trinket during a trip away from the hotel, the lady at the information desk went out of her way to find an address for us. We have no plans to return to Morocco, but are glad we stayed here for this year's holiday.
I stayed with my two sons ages 8 & 9 and it was great. Great pool and close to beach. Nice dining hall and kind staff. Be prepared to walk as the hotel is built around the pool and is quite big. If you need the elevator it's a long haul as it's close to the front. We enjoyed it and it is priced well. Good value.
