Stayed at Hotel Argana for one night in april. The location is not great, the amenities are fine. We had buffet breakfast and dinner and it was fine. The viea of the hotel is amazing. The rooms are dark and not clean.
Was in the Argana hotel March 2017 , hotel is pretty central, it's an Moroccan style bit tried but very clean, staff are all wonderful, never made breakfast, had dinner on the 1st night buffet style, not my our thing , pool area was very quite no kids which was a plus for us and pool food was very good and you can get the same menu in hotel bar til about 8, we went with sunway and it was a brilliant deal, if you want a lasy pool hoilday in the sun ,we would recommend this and we will be going back .
The beds are so hard, and also bad since the soft underbed makes it all strange. I have only once slept on a worse bed in 100+ hotels. We asked about the aircondition (not working) and they changed our room. Still not working. We asked in the reception 4 times, and they just said that a tecnician will come. Nothing happened so we called our tour company. Then a tecnician came within a few hours, but when we asked nothing happened for days.. But, the aircondition wasn't working after he "fixed" it either. This is kind of a theme of the hotel. It's getting old and need renovation, but nothing is happening. Apart from theese 2 things it's a good place. Good location, friendly staff, good food. Some smaller bad things are the gym and that they insist that you buy water and things there for like 2 Euro a bottle. No food/water allowed to take into the hotel from outside. In all it's not that bad if you can handle the really hard beds and don't need aircondition.
Yes its very good location & reasonably cheap but many faults. Stayed end of Jan 2017, lucky had good weather & hotel rather empty but mainly old ppl. Serves standard breakfast not much variety & staff pushy-bit rude, closes early (9:30) but do make fresh eggs as you want. Hotel relatively clean but did not inform us beforehand of city tax which was approx £7-10 p/person, 5days, so was down money before we even entered our room! PROS: Hotel has own free beach section (but hotel failed to inform us at all), hotel has currency exchange & v.good rate too, nice security, nice bar with big TV usually showing sports, & seating areas inside & out. Wifi on all floors but not great connection on higher floors. Has stairs, lifts & wheelchair access. Has breakfast and dinner service. small fridge but not great CONS: Everything's outdated, room's balcony door wouldn't lock, lights & AC didn't work properly. The male manager not very helpful, other staff nice. Charges ridiculous price to call UK due to booking issue & demanded us to pay even though we ran out of dirhams using their exchange service. Only 1 pool & NOT heated. has safe but charges, no hair dryer. P.S. best to pay more for better hotel, taxis will rip you off so always haggle. DONT GO Souk El Had. Go to Souk Inezgane (cheaper).
Spent a week here in a mini March heat wave. Fantastic deal with sunway. First impressions. Room was clean. Staff friendly especially my good friend Bob who is integral to the happiness of guests. Make sure he is valued management ! Met good people. Very family type atmosphere which as a solo was pretty cool when travelling alone. After a week everyone knew everyone. Pity we didn't win the rugby! All in all Argana ...great value for money. And Ray...I waited 15 mins at arrival gates in Dublin. No idea where you disappeared to. Hope you got home ok. For the price this is definitely worth a stay. The breakfast is not 5 star but you won't go hungry and you get what you pay for ;)
hotel was good rooms good and clean breakfast ok but finishes to early 9 30 only three things music by the pool to load and repetitive not enough loungers covers and not enough umbrellas to go round had to wait for people to leave to get a cover had to get a broken umbrella and fix it my self
My only complaint was that bottled water was sold to guests at highly inflated prices. Buying water elsewhere for consumption on hotel premises was strictly forbidden. They will confiscate the bottles. Keep them. You are only allowed to take them out for consumption off the Hotel premises. That was a drag but otherwise everything else was good including the pleasant hotel staff. The rate of currency exchange is generally better here than elsewhere.
Lovely hotel, nice pool, bars, clean, good food, comfortable beds(ive a bad back),spacious rooms, good kind staff, reasonably priced, close to beach, secure and safe Couple suggestion: Noise-- The pubs too loud until 1am with a 7am marrakech tour booked id suggest finishing live music at 11 switching to quieter recorded music until 1, or move the main bar to the shisha bar....the age of people in the hotel in winters 40+ or young families for a few pub goers everybody else is tired all day...people will still drink with quieter music! Checkin-- If checkouts at 11am and rooms are not ready by 4pm this is an issue...while other people sat by the pool/ate before our rep meeting at 5 i missed out on a swim and had to eat in pizzahut because the poolbar was closed by the time i checked in..not the best start to a holiday....the keys should be ready to pick up within max 20 minutes of arrival
Great hotel breakfast most enjoyable and great choices fresh fruit most days great variety of eggs Cooked the way you like them M&M Great pool although not heated but quiet refreshing to swim in . The pool side restaurant excellent and very cheap burger and chips €5 Also the Argana salad very good served by Said &Taki and their assistant all in all a very good experience
Great Management Was not a big deal, but my check-out times got extended, due to my flight not being till late in the evening Conclusion, customer satisfaction is more important to this hotel, than the customer money. Special thanks to Issam from the management team
