Nice clean hotel, could do with a lick of paint, also the central air circulator was constantly hunting, noisy for few minutes then stop then start again with shudders. The room heating system was fine but switch it off if you want to try to sleep. It also had a shudder when stopping. So sleeping was not comfortable noise wise.
Overall it was okay, however really annoying with no Broadband/Wifi, major inconvenience as had to go to next door hotel to check emails, and as I was from NZ then it wasn't as simple as using my own hotspot.
Having a party at the Astor, this was the cheapest place to stay so after the party there was no need to drink drive. It was perfect, close to party and no cost to leave car in car park. Easy access to everything
