Excellent service and location to all Adelaide has to offer. Would recommend to anyone for business, family or couples. Quiet and convenient. Short walk to Adelaide oval, Casino and other attractions. Easy access to trams and bus services.
Room was good and the balcony onto North Tce was great. Great location for going to see a band for our anniversary. Bathroom wasn't as clean as we would have liked . Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful.
Enjoyed our stay. Lovely balcony and large glass doors...disappointing view of car park! 5 min walk to Rundle mall was fantastic. Extreme difficulty over football weekend as roads closed and much trouble accessing motel case park, recommend do not use own car when football -it was a nightmare! Lovely hotel professional and respectful service - although I wished we were warned about road closures, Enjoyed the pool and fitness centre satisfactory. Room wasn't serviced during stay (3 days).
The staff are very friendly and look after my needs when requested. The room was very tidy and had everything that I needed. I will definitely recommend this accommodation to others and plan on returning.
..I found this trip very disappointing as we had a family apartment and brought people that have never stayed there before. we have always rated the oaks but not this time. when you spen a lot of money you expect a bit better
I found the location to be very good, the rooms themselves were quite reasonable and clean. The staff were friendly and the cafe down stairs was also great for breakfast, the down side. The rooms are very adequate, but beware of the shower. The room we stayed in had a water saver that was just saving to much water, I would have to wash one part of my body then stick it under the shower. To make things worse, it is was a bath shower that was very slippery. I have put up with these before but this was pure dangerous and did not look forward to having a shower. The basin was not deep but very shallow and the way it was designed was ridiculous. We would forget and be getting dressed to go out and the water would just spray all over you, for me to complain about this means it was bad! I am not winger but this really got up my goat! get these things fixed and I will come back. by the way the beds are fantastic
Very close to CBD and shopping area, most of the facilities are provided in the room. Good for business & family. Convention Center is just opposite. The rooms are spacious. Only 30min free wifi is not enough.
Overall poor room due to ongoing issues with room keys requiring staff to escort you to your room. Additionally, in room wifi is expensive compared to others. Oaks costs the same per night as other hotels in the area, but service is much lower. Have a good look at other hotels before booking.
We were on our 14th wedding anniversary and decided to tour the Barossa and McLaren Vale wineries. The decision was made to centralise ourselves in Adelaide and found out that Oaks Horizons was a pickup and drop off point for the tours we had decided on. The staff at Oaks Horizons were so friendly and provided us with a high floor one bedroom deluxe self contained room. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable and serviced daily which was nice to return to after a busy day sightseeing. Located on north terrace it was just a short walk to transport, casino and dining. Coffee club nearby was a bonus. We were allowed a late checkout due to our afternoon flight home which strengthened our decision on choosing Oaks Horizons. The only thing I would suggest is that the 30 minutes per day of free WIFI is a bit outdated with most of the venues around including the coffee club is unlimited time. The first day we tried our 30 minutes even thought we we online for a short time was fine but we found trying to connect the next day it was difficult. Apart from that we recommend Oaks Horizons and would choose to stay there again.
Spacious, clean and reliable. Hassle-free. 2 cards for a 2 bedroom apartment. Car parking was pre-arranged and all was good. The bed was too hard for me but I think this is because I am used to a softer kind of bed. Location a bit noisy but it is a very convenient walk to Peel Street (for dinner and entertainment).
