Great central location close to shops and restaurants. Nice rooms with great shower. TV was in an odd location (too low) and it seemed that only 1 of the 4 lifts was working. Also quite strange that the rooftop bar closed early (by 8am one evening)? Very hard to contact anyone for room service.

The accommodation was close to the buses, trams, and the mall. The price of a bus trip to Handorf was only $1, such an incredible price. The room was good, but the carpet was a little tired and stained; however, the bed was very comfortable. The shower pressure was amazing, and the shower was of a generous size. We had a bath, which was lovely to soak in after a long day walking around to see the sights.

Air conditioning didn’t work at all well - kept turning the temperature up to make it warmer but it was still cold. I had received an email telling me to ask at check-in about an extra perk/reward for becoming a silver member, but staff knew nothing about this.

Nicely renovated old building

Nice upmarket stay in central Adelaide. Great cocktail bar and restaurant. Very professional staff. Convenient parking garage across the road. I really enjoy staying here :)

Great location. Staff didn’t provide any information when checking in so later on we didn’t know how to access the rooftop bar. Called with issue with TV remote and no one ever came as they wrote down the incorrect room number. The room is nice but unsure if it was worth the price as I’ve stayed in others in Adelaide with the same offerings for less.

We stayed at the Mayfair for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay! The staff were friendly and polite and the room was comfortable. Having drinks at the rooftop bar was the perfect way to enjoy the evening. Not to mention, the location was fantastic and conveniently located across from Rundle St Mall. I would have given 5 stars for everything if not for the slightly aged room. For example, all USB charging sockets in the room were broken. And teh layout was slightly odd, e.g. power outlets were in far corners and the room phone was tucked away in a corner almost behind the cupboard. I suppose that’s also because its a heritage building converted into a hotel. Also, another little inconvenience is that there isn’t a proper driveway/drop-off point at the hotel and you need to get off/on at the loading zone along the street, but when the loading zone is full (which was often), it’s really difficult to load/unload your luggage.
