I guess you get what you pay for. The room was tiny. The particular artwork in our room was fairly uninspiring. The room wasn't cleaned for the entire stay, except the bed was made and the towels were changed on the last day (not the sheets). The receptionists were very pleasant and welcoming. Average

Wasn’t really sure what to expect due to the price but we were pleasantly surprised! Gorgeous little rooms. Neat and tidy, well presented with very comfortable beds! The staff were lovely and very accommodating!

The Majestic Minima is in the perfect spot when visiting Adelaide for Womad. It is very close to both a stop on the free bus route which will drop you off outside the Frome St entrance to the festival and also close to a late night Womad bus stop for coming back after 10 at night. It is also an easy walk to the Frome St entrance. Melbourne Street has a number of good cafes for breakfast and is in a lovely area of Adelaide filled with many lovely old stone buildings. The room was spotless, quiet and comfortable but quite small. This would have bothered me a lot less if I'd had the small balcony that most of the rooms seemed to have but my room had a high window which looked out on a covered garage so was a bit claustrophobic. When I enquired about other rooms, I found that they all cost the same very reasonable rate regardless of whether they had a verandah or not. I was a little disappointed that I had been given the room I had, considering I had booked months in advance, but was told that you have to ask for a room on an upper level etc if you wanted one. That's OK but I didn't realise that when booking because it wasn't stated anywhere. I would stay here again because of the location and price but I would make sure I didn't end up in a room like the one I was assigned this time.

The location was perfect, the room was small but lovely, clean and well-equipped. My only issue is the “king” bed that is made of two single mattresses, so it’s not a brilliant nights sleep for a couple that sleeps the best while snuggling- either you’re relegated to your own sides of the bed, you both have to squeeze to one side (which negates the whole king bed thing) or one of you spends the night on the join, which isn’t fun for anyone. Recommended for a single night stay especially if you’re by yourself.

The Minima was a pleasure to stay at and handy to all Adelaide has to and functional. Even though the rooms are smallish, everything has been cleverly placed to maximise the space and the original art decor was quirky. The staff were convivial and helpful. Will definitely stay at Minima again on our next visit to Adelaide.

All you need in these small, but perfect rooms- super comfy beds, up to date bathrooms, lots of food and drink options a stones throw away, and free public transport to the city centre 100m walk. And a fantastic price too. Why go to a back packers when you have all this

Rooms are quite small and have very minimalist design, but still clean and comfortable. Hotel is vell located within a pleasent 15 minute walk from the CBD. Breakfast is available from a nearby cafe, but quite pricey.

Clean well appointed room. Great/helpful staff. Location in Nth Adelaide is good with on street parking available at no cost. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around plus a couple of good pubs. Very handy to CBD.

Room clean and comfortable. They looked after us very well, housekeeping excellent and all requests answered promptly. Fantastic location, near the Free Bus stop and in a street of cafes and restaurants. My only negative is that they promised me $99 rooms and then charged $105 - not really impressed with that and no explanation. The rooms should be as advertised.

Was able to get a fair price, despite it being a particularly busy time of year in Adelaide. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Huge, comfortable bed. Room was immaculate - enjoyed the artistic theme. Appreciated having a small balcony and powerful air conditioning. Cable TV was a bonus. Handy to restaurants and town.
