Great, clean and well maintained rooms. Close to lots of location. Great value for money . Will most definitely be staying there again in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodation close to the city
I have stayed in the Majestic Minima on numerous occasions, and it never fails to impress. The rooms are tiny and clean, but incredible value-for-money, given the location. If you wish to explore North Adelaide, and don't plan on spending a lot of time in your room, this hotel is fantastic. Late night check-in is incredibly easy too.
Well as the title says, they can't always be perfect, but it is a shame that this was the weekend that they weren't. I have stayed here many, many times, and always enjoyed the cleanliness, the ease of check-in and the comfort of the bed. This time was nothing like those.I arrived on time to see a chap I had not seen before behind the desk, and he proceeded to tell me everything about the hotel. Even after I told him that I had stayed there several times before. And that I was in a hurry, which I was.He eventually gave me a key and sent me to my room.Which wasn't cleaned. It had the quilts piled up on the bed and a dirty towel on the bench. When I went back to tell him about it, I had to wait for him to go through the same extended slow process with another couple before he could deal with me. I told him the situation and he insisted on grabbing his hotel keys and walking down there to check. (fair enough). He found the cleaner who said it hadn't be cleaned. This led to a brief discussion on how "weird" it was that the system said it was.Did I mention I was in a hurry?Normally I arrive with plenty of time, but this time I was in a time crunch, and everything took forever.....So we had to go back to the desk, and he had to re-card my room. (a newly painted one, so that was nice)I go up to the new room (which was perfectly clean) and sit on the bed.Instead of an hour to relax, I had 15 minutes before I had to get ready to go. Not all of that lost time was their fault, but at least 1/2 hour of lost time was.But I got to my function on time, had a lovely day/evening and returned to my room to sleep. The bed was terrible. 1 half of the 2 king single mattresses was brand new and solid, the other was warped and uncomfortable. And I move around a lot when I sleep. So I woke up sore and grumpy. Now I want to state for the record that this is the first time ever that I have been disappointed in the Minima. Every other time it has been perfect. But, as I stated earlier, you cannot always be perfect. And this time they weren't. The score below are for THIS trip only, normally they score much higher, and I do recommend them still, this time was just not great.
The check-in process was a little 'off' (no-one at the desk - had to use an intercom), but the rooms were lovely, although small (as advertised). Rooms had everything required for one night in a compact package. Checkout lady was very helpful and friendly. Congrats on the SATIC Award!
The bed wasn't king size. It was simply 2 single beds put together. Didn't accommodate my 6'4" height very well. Apart from that, everything was great. Great location, friendly staff (especially Ethan). Clean, secure rooms, great privacy.
Great location, comfort and service from staff. rooms are small but comfortable. design of cupboard space could be better, eg opening the doors is only possible when removing all items from table. staff were helpful and always eager to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. enjoyed the free bike hire rides.
Perfectly located making it easy to get around with secure & affordable parking downstairs (with lift directly to your floor). Walk-ability of this location is awesome - heaps of great cafes, bars, restaurants and a convenience store across the street made my stay easy to cater and meet with friends and hold business meetings nearby.Cute & Comfy hotel, rooms on the small side, but packed full of features & have everything that you need so not an issue. The best thing about this hotel though is their staff! Nothing was too much trouble, check-in was super smooth and fast. Everything was done with a friendly smile - genuine not over the top.
The hotel is easily accessible and convenient to Melbourne St. The staff were lovely on check-in and check-out. The car park was very useful to have access to. I would recommend this hotel to people looking for easy accommodation.
We found this accommodation suited us well for an overnight stay in Adelaide. Booking the secure carpark was a must and walking distance to local eateries and drinks was easy. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable.
Conveniently located quality accommodation for a very affordable price. You can't go past the Majestic Minima Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are compact, but comfortable. This is my third time staying here, and I highly recommend it.
