Great stay comfortanle room helpful staff very close to some fantastic resturants and bars. The young male receptionist very helpful and knowledgeable of where to eat and places to visit. Room very clean and comfortable ..
We arrived at this hotel unsure what to expect..It is located less that 50 metres from the Old Lion Hotel in North Adelaide..The staff were good, the rooms were very clean & we appreciate why they call it MINI..These rooms are small & compact (not for a long stay I suspect) but there is everything that one needs for a short stay..We would definitely stay there again..
Aptly named Minima as it is minimal on size....except the bed. Spotless accomodation. We park the car then walk....to the city, Adelaide Oval, the Zoo, parklands and many good restaurants and The Old Lion Hotel. As we stay often we were lucky to be offered a cheaper rate. The standard price is minimal too !
The check in and out was professional and completed with ease. The room was functional in the confined area and for a one night stay was efficient. The TV was in an awkward location if you did not want to lay down to watch a program. The doona was dirty on the edges and wasn't very pleasant.
Always enjoy staying at this stylish and affordable, modern establishment in Adelaide and being so well looked after by the Hotel Owners and Management. Looking forward to coming back in a few weeks - hopefully for a 'Dees' win against Bernie's old side!
The room was small and basic. Fit for the purpose of having a place to sleep but that is about all. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, TV was too high on the wall to watch comfortably unless you were lying down and the air conditioner was very loud.
If you want a comfortable bed and a room just to sleep without breaking the bank in a fantastic location the Minima Hotel is the place. The rooms are small but extremely comfortable with everything you would need. Would recommend this hotel, close to the CBD and great eating at your doorstep.
North Adelaide and the Melbourne Street cafes and restaurants. We had some great meals and such a great city to spend time in. McLaren Vale had forgotten how much I loved visiting the wineries down south
I found the experience to generally be very good. Check-in was very quick and efficient—everyone I dealt with was very courteous and professional. The car park is tight, but easy to get in and out of. The size of the room was fine, and I really like the idea of not paying for a big writing desk, lounge chairs, etc. that I would never use anyway. The unique artwork and décor makes for a great experience in the room, and is really different from anywhere else I've stayed. The king-size bed was firm but very comfortable. The room was very clean; however, there was black spot mould growing on the silicone at the bottom of the shower screen. The only other downside was that someone was slamming the front door on the floor above me at almost midnight, which made it hard to get to sleep one night. Overall, though, it was a great place to stay and I would not hesitate to come back.
Great room for a short stay. Everything you need comfortable and clean. Close to restaurants and shops and a quick trip into the city. Walking distance to the Adelaide Oval. Highly recommended and the price is great. The reception is tiny you’ll miss it if you blink, look left.
