Superb villa

Spacious villa that is even better than the photos. Quiet residential area but everything you could want within walking distance. Kitchen has all the utensils needed and more. Nice size pool that was just about warm enough in December and plenty of loungers and outdoor seating. No complaints. Communications with both Ellen and Yannick were excellent.Would definitely return.

Relaxing sunny break

The property was exactly as described . It was comfortable, large and had excellent amenities. The little separate annexe with a room was really nice too . The villa is situated in a quiet street. The walk into town / beach is about 20 minutes which was perfect .

Even better than the photos!

We spent a week in this VRBO and the location and property were even better than we could have imagined. We were six adults and it was perfect. Checking in was straightforward, and the communication was great (especially if you speak French since that is what the owner speaks but the property manager speaks English). It's in a quiet neighbourhood and a bit of a hike to the beach but I'd recommend renting a car anyway to see the rest of the island. It was very clean and had everything you need (we did have to buy our own shampoo, hand and laundry soap etc). We were lucky to have nice weather in December and were in the pool every day! I would highly recommend this VRBO!

Mooi en praktisch huisje. Wel hebben we dadelijk alle lakens moeten wassen, want die waren alles behalve fris. Zwembad niet echt verwarmd, enkel de cover zorgt voor wat opwarming. Airco afstandsbediening niet beschikbaar zodat we die niet konden gebruiken. Zonnescherm aan terras kapot. We hebben dit gemeld, en hiervoor werd wel spoedig een oplossing geboden, ze hebben dan een parasol met staander gebracht, waardoor we toch nog op het terras konden zitten. De lokatie is goed, wel aangeraden om een auto te hebben, want de wandeling naar het centrum is goed te doen, maar bij terug komen bergop en wanneer het in het najaar vlugger donker is, niet zo aangenaam. Supermarkt en enkele restaurantjes wel in de korte nabijheid, zodat die dan een alternatief kunnen zijn voor het centrum.

Lovely villa - great holiday!

Just returned from 2 weeks here. We were very happy with the communication with the owner, the price and the accommodation as advertised. The villa is in a residential area and apart from some neighbours and traffic noise, its mostly quiet. A short walk downhill to the supermarket / shopping centre and approx. 20 mins walk to restaurants at Fanabe Beach. Taxis are very cheap (3.50 Euros) if you don't fancy the walk back. We hired a car and there is plenty of on street parking outside the villa. The pool is excellent and all the fixtures and fittings in the villa were plentiful and in good condition. It was very hot at night and there were only two fans to cool the bedrooms, a third would be welcome, but it didn't spoil our stay. Communication with Ellen (the local contact) was excellent and she was on hand to help with any issues or queries (of which there were few). All in all we would definitely recommend and would hope to return soon. Merci beaucoup Mr Lebrun pour la location de votre villa!

Nice villa

Overall we were happy with the villa and would stay again. The location is good, there is a shopping centre with a supermarket 5 minutes walk away. If you don't mind the hill you can walk to the beach and numerous bars/restaurants in about 20 minutes. The WiFi in the property was excellent. The outside space is very nice, it gets the sun all day, but there is a shaded patio if you want it. Pool is too small to swim in, but fine for splashing about in. There are a few minor things that stopped me giving it 5 stars. - No English tv channels other than BBC news. (Not a huge problem on holiday, but there are hundreds of French and German channels, so maybe paying for a few English ones as well would be nice?) - The outside grill is an electric stainless steel one that you really can't cook on because no matter how much oil you use everything sticks. It needs replacing with gas or charcoal. - The beds in the main house give you a choice between unbelievably hard and super soft. - The pillows are really thin and cheap feeling. - It didn't affect us in December, but we were informed that the airconditioning units do not work. - There are only 4 decent sized glasses in the property - all the others are small tumbler size.

Lovely villa

Great location if you want it a bit quieter which we do and it’s only a 15 minute walk to Fanabe beach, restaurants and bars. Very well equipped with everything you need. Sparkling pool. I recommend ‘George’s’ for a very local meal. They do the usual steak, pizza etc but they also serve a great Chinese meal with an extensive menu. There is a large supermarket within walking distance so it’s very convenient.

Great villa in great area

Fab villa pictures don’t do it justice very well equipped kitchen, great for families, not party venue as it’s in a very residential area great shopping Centre 2 mins away (5) on foot. Only one criticism bedding needs updating only one very tired pillow per headspace and no spares to be found. Would suggest 4 new plump pillows per double bed. Small change to make the villa perfect.

A little gem

A lovely home from home property A little tired in parts but that didn’t spoil a fantastic holiday Equipment in the villa ... crockery , cutlery etc second to none The all area is quiet, peaceful and secure feeling and just a ten minute walk to town and two minutes to a supermarket and shopping complex complete with multi screen cinema All in all a definite must and we will be returning hopefully soon

Good location, tired villa in need of attention. The pool is NOT HEATED.

We were a couple taking having the only 2 week break we can accommodate in the year. The villa is located in a good location within easy walking distance of the supermarket and a few local restaurants that are part of the Gran Sur shopping centre. Approx 15 mins stroll downhill to the beach front with lots of good, restaurants and shops. There is quite a lot of road noise including the motorway and slip road off the motorway but you become used to this. Unfortunately, the neighbours so increase the level of noise. One one side you have a new born baby who does what babies do and cries a lot, this couple also have drone that they like to fly above the villa which is shame as the villa is not naturally overlooked. On the other side you have an English Family who have children who like the scream at the top of voices. The villa itself has a good, well equipt kitchen, except for a 6 person villa it has a 2 slice toaster. That's where the positives end, the remainder is basic and very tired. Cleanliness needs to be addressed and the quality of bedding and towels are very very poor. You do not get any linen changes, expected to remove bedding clean and replace in the same day. The villa allocates 1 pillow per person, some are lumpy and unusable, pillow cases coming away at the seams etc. Only a sheet on each bed with a cover not much thicker than a sheet.... that is it! Towels, you are again allocated 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel for the entire stay. In fact this leads me on to tell you the single WC has had the hand basin removed to allow for the washing machine to be fitted to the plumbing, not very hygienic!! My main issue was we were advised "the pool is heated in winter months" it is not. Upon contacting the owner as this lie was nothing to do with the Manager he claimed that he had solar panelling on the garage roof heating the pool. The Electrician who came to fix the TV (yes that was an issue too) advised this solar panelling was outdated and did not work. The manager claimed the pool has never been heated yet the Owner ignored my further emails after initially responding!! TV in main bedroom did not work either, in fact there was no control. All in all quite a disappointing stay with an owner who simply does not care about ensuring customers are happy.

Great villa offering everything you could require.

We travelled in a family party made up of 3 generations - 4 adults, 2 children & a baby. All contact prior to our stay was quick and easy, and the arrival arrangements were simple. The villa is delightful with an excellent outside area with pool. The layout of the villa suited us particularly well with 2 bedrooms in the main building with kitchen, dining area, sitting area, bathroom and separate w.c. and then the annexe comprising of 1 large bedroom with shower room. The outside space is really good and well equipped with appropriate furniture and the pool was the perfect size for our family. Ellen was our contact in resort, we met her just once during our stay and made phone contact to confirm arrangements a couple of times, she was extremely pleasant and helpful at all times. We knew the location of the villa when we made the booking as we visit Tenerife quite often, it was ideal for us being in a quiet area, close to a supermarket, and walking distance to the beach. It may not be ideal for everyone because it is uphill from the beachfront but we felt it was a compromise worth making to take advantage of everything the villa had to offer. There is plenty of parking space directly outside the villa which was useful as we did hire a car for the duration of the stay. I would highly recommend this villa.

Fabulous Villa - great price, great location, great facilities.

Such a lovely clean, well-maintained and well-furbished villa, excellent location, and great facilities. Lovely open plan layout inside, lots of storage. Comfortable sofas and and excellent amenities, very well thought out. TV was mainly in French, but if you speak English then go to the 'audio' button on the white remote control, and select English, some of the programmes revert to English which was great for the few times we watched TV in the evenings if we weren't out. Wi-fi didn't work sadly for our stay, at least we couldn't get it to work, Ellen tried very hard to get it fixed, but I suspect there was a network problem and she refunded the price paid with no hesitation. Easy check-in and check out at our convenience, Ellen was extremely helpful overall and answered texts quickly. It should be said that the photos and video simply do not do the villa justice. We absolutely loved it, it was so spacious both inside and out, and we also loved the single storey layout. It was central to so many things, whilst affording us privacy. Extremely well stocked kitchen with all gadgets and utensils needed, far more than we thought would be there, and excellent outdoors area for cooking food too, and for eating. We enjoyed many a BBQ/breakfast cooking outside on the grill and hotplates. We made good use of the washing machine, and laundry area, and hadn't realised when booking that there were 3 toilets there, which was a bonus for 6 people. Pool was a great size. The artificial grass was great for walking on and as a safety/comfort feature around the pool. Plenty of room for sunbathing, and for 6 people, you were never on top of each other. We loved the outside bedroom with en-suite, it was great to have further privacy away from the villa directly. Loved the shutters for added security. It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with fabulous views of the sea and La Gomera, but not directly overlooked by other villas, and only 10 minutes walk down the road to Adeje, 5 minutes walk to a shopping Mall/Supermarket/McDonalds, and a 5 mins taxi ride to Las Americas or Fanabe. Plenty of parking outside, we hired a car as we wanted to see the island more, and it was great to park outside each time with no bother. You can also get a taxi from the Mall at most times, so no worries about getting a taxi ride when you want one. We went as an adult couple with adult children and their partners, and we all had a great time together. We will return......
