Rooms were nice with great views but was in need of a fresh painting

I have stayed a few times at this hotel because it's clean, beds are comfortable every employee is very friendly and polite.

Room needs a mini fridge and maybe a small couch.

Lobby employees lack training. It takes forever to check in . They do not basic stuff, such as open a voucher

The majority of the staff were super friendly, especially during breakfast. Some waiters were very attentive and had the best service. The only downside was the WiFi signal was weak and had bad reception. Also, one of the sink knobs was a bit hard to twist and the water won’t stop running. Other than that, I’m very pleased with the hotel.

Wedding was beautiful! The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect. Overall great service.

The hotel has been there for many years, the staff, location and food makes it a great option to stay in Acapulco for one or two nights.

Every year just after New Years we spend a few days in Acapulco and for the last few years we have been staying at El Cano. We love the location as it is walking distance to some of our favorite restaurants. We also like the way they have plenty of little palapas on the beach. Usually the service is outstanding, but this time we encountered sub-par service on two occasions. It was very difficult to get a server on the beach which usually isn't the case. Even after walking up to the bar to ask for a menu, I was told somebody would be right there to take our order, but no one ever showed up. The next morning we had the breakfast buffet. When I got the bill, they had charged us for four adults when our youngest is 11 years old. I asked them at what age do they charge children as an adult and they replied, 12 and older. I told them my son is eleven and they said he looks older. I said that may be the case, but he is 11. I asked to speak to a manager and he argued with me instead of siding with the guest. I asked to speak to his supervisor and finally they changed it. I was very unhappy with the way they handled it and am considering not returning.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at El Cano. The view walking into the lobby just made us feel like we were in paradise. The room was comfortable and all rooms have a waterfront view. It was easy to walk to restaurants and walk on the beach. Not far from the bus station either. Great spot!

Great restaurant of Spanish food. Rooms are clean but could be upgraded and refurbished to make them more modern. Elevators are small and could be upgraded.

Very nice architecture, very well kept. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean.

It was a great hotel until our keys would not open... they suggested to move rooms or get someone to open the room for us whenever we needed to open the door. With a day left from our stay we decided not to go through the trouble of moving to another room. We had to wait everytime for service to open our door. We waited for the service tried to fix the problem... a few hours and were unable to fix it. Not a nice experience.

very nice classic acapulco! great views, very tranquil, very friendly staff. we cant wait to return!!!

The hotel is located in the best area of Acapulco. Since you get into the hotel lobby everybody is friendly and courteous. All areas in the hotel are very clean and well maintained. The room had a very nice view of the Bahia, also clean and well maintained. My best choice in many trips to this beutiful place. I enjoyed every day that I stayed in this hotel. Like I said the best hotel to stay in Acapulco. You need to be there to enjoy it.

The pool is nice and so is the beach. There food at the restraunt is expensive. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very courteus.

HOTEL IS OLD BUT CLEAN WERY GOOD LOCATION POOL IS CLEAN AND BIG FOOD NOT SO GOOD NO COFFE MACHINE IN ROOM

We had a warm welcome after a long trip. Had a good night sleep in a comfortable bed. Then the highlight of our one night stay - the shower which is mighty powerful with lots of good hot water and refreshing.

It was very peaceful and clean. Service is not very good, but enough to have a pleaseant stay. Blocks away from bars, restaurantes and discos.

The Cano is still an excellent hotel, in spite of the many years it has been operating. Clean with a view that is worth a million from every room. Except for the total lack of services after 11PM, no room service, not any possibility for evern a Coke.
