needs and update ASAP. the staff was very helpful, the location right on the beach but the waves are very dangerous specially if you are vacationing with kids.

Excelente hotel. Check-in was so quickly they give us our room before midday, all the employees were so nice and very helpful. If I return to Acapulco I'll stay here again with out thinking twice, the price it really worthy.Good location, what I really loved was the view our hotel was 1603 (16th floor).

Lady at the front desk doesn't have a smile and talks rude to co workers

Location of the hotel is very good. It has private beach under control of hotel security. In the morning the beach is clean. However there are a lot of disappointed points. 1. Staff was not helpful. We forgot my wife's hat in the bus from México City and asked staff to call to the bus Company if they found the hat. Staff promised us but never did and we finally found the hat our self. 2. Refrigerator did not work. 3. In according with hotel description there is coffeemaker in the room. There was not. We asked staff for the coffeemaker or even teapot, but got nothing. 4. the room was cleaned every day and was clean. But some minor appliances like hairdryer and icepick was never cleaned in years, so you couldn't take them in your hand.

The hotel was was good, the shower very good. Only thing is the tile floor in the room was dirty... Never mopped

Long waiting took about an hour and a half to Check in, terrible service.

wonderful hotel in a wonderful location...wish check in wait time had been shorter...but worth the wait

Good service overall Recommend. Mr Carlos Slim is the owner .

It was a bad experience the hotel is old and smells bad ,the ac was malfunction and I was so cold at night and there were not blankets in the room.. The staff was friendly but only the front desk because the security was not friendly at all. I will never recommend this hotel!!.

This hotel was decent for the price. Had a good view and is centrally located. Room was fairly clean. Bathroom had a little bit of mold above toilet. I realize that this is a tropical location so was not surprised to see a little bit of mold. Air conditioner was not working upon arrival, but was repaired within 30 minutes of notifying desk. Staff was friendly and helpful. On the second day I took off the ID. wrist ban when i went out and was questioned by security upon my return. So yes the hotel felt safe. Decent places to eat nearby. Went to tortugas and had some good mexican style meals. Tip take off the identification wrist ban when stepping out. This identifies you as a tourist and you'll not be bothered as much by vendors and cab drivers.

This was my 3th time in this Hotel, excellent place over all for your money and location. Staff was very friendly and room very comfortable, I will stay in this place again.

The rooms are very dated and lack modern décor. The pools are small and crowded. There are many activities for children and the hotel is very lively!

CReo que el precio es alto en relacion a la la calidad de sus habitaciones...

Fantastic ocean view, comfortable beds. we went to a wedding that took place in the lobby and spent the night. all my relatives were very satisfied with all the amenities offered by calinda beach. I would definitely stay there again

great stay very comfortable, things to do for all age groups.. but it was cloudy for the first few day

Thoroughly enjoyable. We went with this for the value to get a warm beach vacation in during the winter. Acapulco is 90 degree weather during the "winter". A 6star resort this is not, but for the price we were very pleased. Beach front in the main Acapulco bay, easy access to great restaurants, the cliff divers, isla roqueta, CiCi waterpark where you can swim with a dolphin for $75, etc

We ate at the acapulco malibu - less than a block away. Very friendly and helpful people - excellent food and drinks. We found staff very limited at the Calinda.

It was a wonderful place to stay....friendly staff and good food. I would recommend it to my friends and family.

My overall experience of this hotel was a satisfactory one, most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, with the exception of the reception staff who were not at all friendly and as first impressions mean a lot they would do well to try and be more welcoming. The hotel is showing signs of wear and tear but the remodelling appears to be ongoing. The rooms are clean and functional and good value. Our only real issue was with the fact that the pool area was being repaired and it became very noisy with construction work and feel the hotel could have at least given warning if not scheduled the repairs better. We had to evacuate to the adjoining beach to escape the noise, which was not too much of a problem as the beach is very nice and well catered for snacks, drinks and watersports. The hotel is in a good location, beach on one side and easy access to restaurants, bars and entertainment on the other. There is very good public transport and taxis are always available if required. This is not a luxury hotel, but is good value for a reasonable standard. There is a gentleman called Homero that works at the side of reception for an excursion company who is first class and very polite and helpful who can arrange excursions without sales pressure and gives very good advice.

The calinda rooom was very clean as well as the rest of the hotel. The beds were comfortable. You could not hear any noise from outside or other rooms. The staff was very friendly in answering questions and sending you in the right direction. The restraunt in the was good but there was not much else in the area.
