My Place Aberdeen called me the day of my arrival to inform me that the hotel was over-booked due to a funeral and they would not have a room for me that evening. I understood since the circumstances could hardly have been foreseen. My Place refunded me the cost of the room and comped me free of charge for two nights at another equally nice hotel in town. A for customer service!
It was super clean and they were very accommodating to our late night arrival.

There doesn’t seem to be any great values in Aberdeen. Of all the hotels though this is one that does seem to be decent in overall value. Keep in mind you also don’t get any of the amenities that you’ll find in other hotels in the area such as a fitness area, pool, or breakfast. Breakfast is available “in bed” for an additional charge but found that McDonald’s may be a better value for that. We were dropping our kid off at Northern State Universitu, would have been good to know that all parents get a special NSU rate. This would have saved us $10-20 a night.
Clean and neat hotel close to main highway and lots of restaurants.
Room always great...Had a little snafu with the desk clerk mixing up rooms but it was handled swiftly.

The room was nice; staff was friendly. Parking good and in a great location; close to several eating establishments. My one and only big problem is that this is a pet friendly hotel. I'm ok with that also, but the entire hotel; from hallways to lobby to my room had pet odor. Also: there is no breakfast at the hotel; unless you want to buy something at their little store; and there is no exercise room.
