Our stay couldn’t have been better! Disblair House was a peaceful pocket of history, Scotland hospitality surrounded in pastoral beauty.. deer, rabbits, birds and pheasant, wildflowers and lovely old hedgerows.

I travel a lot for work, and it was great to find this little hotel off the beaten track. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well laid out, with plenty of space. I used the link in the booking confirmation to find the hotel without any trouble, but take care to follow the signs.

Did not expect this - way exceeded our expectations. It was charming, homely, and very comfortable. Only there for a few days, but we could havd happily stayed much longer. A good base to see this of Scotland from.

Karolynn and Chris were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. The WiFi was the best I've ever had in a hotel, which was surprising given it's rural location. The breakfast was very good and there was a wide choice. Other guests gave this hotel a 10/10 review so I had high expectations. What a great experience. The room is not your typical business-like hotel room but decorated as a historic room. It was a large room with comfortable chairs and a large bed. The owners were lovely, friendly people and cooked us a great, fresh breakfast in the morning. If you are tired of boring hotels, I recommend you to visit Disblair House

We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful Disblair House was. The public area was extremely warm and inviting with a real fire in the fireplace each evening! And an honesty bar to enjoy too! Spent a lovely few days here as a family. Karolyn & Chris were the perfect hosts in their lovely period home & the breakfasts were delicious. The location is a short drive from Aberdeen Airport and a great base for exploring NE Scotland’s stunning coastline, the Cairngorms etc.
