"Hotel restaurant--top notch. What an innovative chef! Meals were unique and now legendary. Tale of 2 rooms. Single room: top floor; so, so hot. Iceland will someday come around to placing individual AC units in *the* rooms that get the 23.5 hours of sunlight and heat. Curtains block out light but turn the room into an inferno. SUCH a nice place, but I doubt I'm the only traveler whose room was an oven in summer. The fan was nice, but not helpful. Deluxe Room: ground floor, shaded with trees, completely lovely, super comfortable in amenities AND temperature. Again, the hotel knows which few rooms are NOT this way. What a lovely place. I hate that our second room was miserable as it gave two totally polarizing opinions of this hotel. Plan with care."
