Great host. Responsive even in the middle of the night when we were lost. Immaculately clean!!! And right on the water with spectacular view!!! Wished we could have stayed another night and used the spa. Really good breakfast provided. We were in the guesthouse portion, and it was great!
One of our best stays on the ring road! People were very nice. It was about 10 minutes from the Puffins. Room was excellent. Nice view over the water from a little deck. Onsite restaraunt, which was good. Also had a good breakfast which was included. Would stay here again.
If you want to stay in a unique loction in Iceland, this isvyour place! A bit far from the "big city", but it has an endless amount of hiking trails. Be warned, you must drive in the mountains a short while to here. However, it is well worth journey. Staff is awesome, the restaurant was wonderful with unbelievable drinks. 10/10 recommend.
Nicest hotel we stayed at in all of Iceland. The studio apartment is a little more but worth it. One hour off the ring road but the drive is part of the awesomeness - Fjords aplenty! 7 minutes from the puffin colony and they are literally 2 feet away from you. Hundreds right by the dock, thousands in the area. Tip: go at 11:30pm, the orange light from the "sort of" setting sun makes for better pictures. Also no one else is there, so you have the puffins in a more relaxed mood. The facilities are wonderful, with outdoor seating, hot tubs, cool tub and sauna. The restaurant had fabulous food and drinks. We would have stayed longer if we had time. Just wonderful.
