We stayed for one night in a junior suite. It was clean, spacious and well decorated. Bathroom was modern and clean. Bed was super comfy. We arrived late and was greeted by a very friendly attendant, the lounge was nice and could get a drink. Breakfast was open nice and early. Food was delicious. The next time I’m on the east side of the island, I will be back!

10/10! Would definitely stay again! Nice lodge with lounge to relax in with coffee and tea, snacks on honor system. I had dinner and breakfast both were very exquisite. General store, and brewery are within walking distance. Keyless entry is nice for coming and going. Staff were very pleasant.

The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. And the dining room serves *amazing* food. The fish we had was some of the very best we’ve had in Iceland. Highly and enthusiastically recommend this hotel.

This was our secret find in Iceland! The design and the way they put things together is amazing. The room was unique and the bed great! Dining was amazing and all staff were so cool. If I ever go back to Iceland I will definitely book a few nights here! Alla was an amazing lady! Casper was so helpful. Thanks to all of them.

We loved staying at this hotel. It’s in a small town surrounded by huge mountains. The room itself was modern, clean, and very comfortable. Definitely make sure to include breakfast as it is a buffet style with delicious waffles, breads, jams, coffee, yogurts, and fresh fruit. Would definitely stay again.

Happy to stay here

Small fishing village with 130 people. Good hotel with large and clean rooms. Very friendly check-in. Good food at restaurant. Beer from local brewery across the road. Brewery also has a bar.

Was end of the season so very quiet, but was a perfect overnight stop off on our drive around the island. Lovely people and a really great meal from the hotel restaurant.

We loved our stay here! It is a very small town and not much to do but the staff was so lovely. We used the hot tub, cold plunge, and the sauna. We borrowed some robes which made the whole experience really nice. The staff lit a large candle for us and brought out water. We even saw a massive show of the northern lights right over the hotel two times! The bedding wasn’t the most comfortable but the room was lovely, lots of space, and had a smart TV to watch Netflix. I would stay here again and highly recommend. Also free coffee and tea which was perfect!
