First, the staff at the Bahia are lovely. Everyone seems energetic and welcoming, and we had a great time getting checked in and shown around the property. It’s also located a short walk to the beach and other attractions of the area, but set back just enough to be quiet at bedtime. We had a wonderful stay.

Loved the modern feel of this hotel. The rooms are big and clean, the restaurant is excellent. The staff was super nice and helpful. The beach club was super nice, great food, grate location and vibe. My only complaint is that the pool at the hotel was freezing cold and we couldn't swim in it at. Other than that our stay was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Staff could be friendlier and more accommodating. We booked shuttles a month in advance to a few activities and forgot...and proceeded to booked our group with more more expensive taxis. Felt scammy. The hotel is just ok, location is great for walking to city centre and beach. I wouldn't recommend.

The location was great, staff were friendly, only complaint is the room was a little noisy.

The property was close to the central marina but not tucked away from the bustling tourist area with its unwanted visitors. The hotel had a high-end, boutique feel with beautiful and spacious rooms, super helpful, welcoming, and friendly staff, and we felt safe the entire time. The restaurant and SUR Beach House are also very good.

From arrival to departure the staff was accommodating and enhanced the experience. The property has a boutique feel and the beach club is a short walk or cart ride away. Over all we loved the area, the accommodations, and everything included. We will be back.

It’s a beautiful property close to downtown and it’s nice because the pool is not full of people like the bigger hotels. I would stay again and the pastry’s are so yummy

Great Boutique Hotel, perfect for an adult getaway! Staff was excellent! Food was amazing!

Excellent location near water activities and restaurants for all ages

Nice hotel. Great bar and restaurant. Close to the beach, restaurants, nightclubs, shopping. All within walking distance. Only complaints are the bed wasn't comfortable, the shower had low water pressure. They charged to use the coffee maker.

My 3rd time visiting and it was fantastic again. Jasmine is wonderful along with all the waitstaff accommodating you during the stay.

Not on the beach, but it's close by, about a 5 minute walk.

Bahia would be a 4 plus without the construction but it is a 1 with the construction going on. The staff is A++; great people, always ready to help, always nice and helpful, always good at their specific jobs – can’t say enough good things about them. The restaurant, with its Mediterranean focus is also excellent and the hotel after and before construction periods is exactly what I had hoped for. An old-school Cabo hotel with local flavor above and beyond the “Resort – all you can eat” experience. But the construction made for a terrible time between 10am and 5pm. This could have been handled better. They need to close it down altogether until the construction is done – and they need to continue to pay the excellent staff during that time just to keep sweeping up the dust. And Orbitz, where were you during this? Why no warning about the construction? Even though the staff moved us to the second floor (with upgrade) the trash chute was right outside our door. So, the main noise was not as bad but every five minutes, a half-ton of debris would come sliding down a wooden chute ten feet from our door. Even our time at the pool was uncomfortably noisy - and it is a very nice pool. Again, Bahia is a great place and would be a 4 without construction because it is an older Cabo experience without sales-people all over you all the time but it should not be open during this large a project. Love the staff though and the restaurant. And the restaurant staff, too.

Our stay at the Bahia was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I loved everything about this hotel! Our upgraded room (102) was located on the first floor and the patio opened up right in front of the pool bar and jacuzzi. The beds could be a little more comfortable (they’re kinda hard), but it wasn’t bad enough to make me take any stars away. The lobby & rooms smell amazing, the decor is beautiful, the vibe was so relaxing, Bar Esquina and the coffee shop were YUM, and the staff was over the top amazing! The hotel is in a great location: 5-10 minute walk to the marina and nightlife, and a quick walk down the hill to the beach. This was ours (and our friends’) first time coming to Cabo and we’re so happy we went with this boutique hotel! Thank you, Alexandra and staff! You made our stay very enjoyable! We’ll definitely be back!

It was so disappointing for hotel that charges around $200 a night to have such a poorly trained personnel and bad customer service. I booked 2 classic rooms and since there is no safe in those rooms I messaged the hotel to find out if we can request one. I got answer after a day from a hotel manager in which he tried to sale me an upgrade to a room with safe, and told me that room safe should be requested on check in and will be given upon availability. When checking in, the front desk guy told us they never give safe in rooms on request. He was totally anaware of our request as well. It turns out you can leave your valuables at the front desk in another safe. That is ok but why give wrong information to the clients? He was suposed to find out about our request and get back to us. We didn't hear from anyone for the 4 days there. I asked the consierge for some tours which I have researched, he tried to steer me to one particular company and took him about 10-15 min to find a number to call them. No person wants to seat with consierge for 30 min to find only partial information. Not helpful. The bathroom door is made of bamboo and you can see everything through, it's like no door is there. There is a stove, but not pots and pans or cutlery so what's the point? Like someone would buy all those in order to cook. U can get a beach chair in the SUR club for which minimum spending is $20 or $35, depending who you ask at Bahia😏.It's minutes away from the beach &close to nightlife.

Great place. The staff is friendly. The location is centrally located to the Cabo action. The hotel is not on the beach but your not paying those prices either. A very short walk and you are on the beach and Bahia’s Restaurant Sur. Right on the beach!!! Great food and the staff is so accommodating. This is a great place to hang for the day. Not one of those places with loud DJ or ridiculous games. But relaxing beach with complimentary massage by Ivan If you want the SUP tour to the arch or kayak see Gunther at Sur. He took pictures of us and then air dropped to my phone. How awesome !! After a great lunch and awesome drinks head back to the hotel. Their restaurant Bar Esquina is wonderful. Little like a NY restaurant with live entertainment every night. Once you go to Bahia, you will be back like us. 3 years and coming back again next year !!!

Remember, budget and location. If that is your goal - you are okay at this hotel. I've stayed in cabo 4 times before this at resorts. Mostly all inclusive, one not. This didn't come close to any resort. (resorts were all 4 stars prior to this). There is nothing fancy about this hotel. It is extremely clean and that is where my 5 stars went. The guest services staff is great. They really do go out of their way, jose and victor. In addition, DO the Paddle Boarding or Kayaking with Gunther. you won't regret it. Amazing. Snorkeling by the arc, and being out there is way better than on a boat. Make sure u knw paddle boarding, it's not for beginners. I'm unsure what was going on with the outdoor pool, but if you are going there for pool , half the time it's shady and there aren't many lounge chairs. Those chairs aren't really lounge chairs. Bartender did disappear for at least 30 mins randomly, and it wasn't like the cabo experience iv'e had b4 where they wait on you hand and foot. Also, because the pool/hotel is so small, kids in the pool are extremely annoying. I couldn't get away from a kid jumping in and out of the pool and splashing, and screaming. This was one day - but I'd say in high season - could be an issue. Just be careful, staying above the restaurant, loud. Also, staying anywhere else gets club bass throughout the night - meaning, you hear the bass until 5a. if you plan to sleep late, forget it. IMO - paying +50/night or more for all round full service, better.

The hotel is centralized and close to everything. I’ve stayed at resorts a bit further away from the downtown / marina area and it was not fun catching a cab everytime we wanted to head into town. The Bahia is walking distance from everything. Great place.
