Very cool place to spend your vacations

Spacious rooms and balcony. The staff is very friendly and nice. Decent restaurants, hard to get reservations unless you hit the app within first few mins of the reservations opening for booking at 9am. Top choices Zai and Marco Polo. Poor Wi-Fi…it was not functional for the most part of our stay. The beach is pretty but not swimmable so best to go to chileano beach.

My wife and I had a great time. We were there for three nights (4 days) total bill $820. No it's not a five star hotel but that isn't what we paid for either. We wanted a safe clean place to go get out of the snow for a few days. That is what got. We thought the staff was over all very friendly. We thought the food was very satisfactory. No you don't get the big fancy ice sculpture and the fancy cut melons but we don't care about that anyway. It may be a little past its prime. The tennis court was a little run down. The pickle ball net was a little saggy but we did play pickle ball and had fun. I'm in hotels on average seven times a month. Mostly Marriotts, Hiltons, Hyatt's... four star hotels. I was very comfortable with the cleanliness of this hotel. If you want a safe, clean place to sit in the sun and go for a walk along the beach, it is great. The waves break pretty hard and it is not a good place for swimming. The pool is nice and they have a fun area with slides for little kids. Kids older than about 8 years old may not like it much. ... I would recommend it for a person on a budget that cares more about value than frills. The buffets for us were very acceptable. At night they have what my wife and I thought was a nice restaurant. If you lean towards the "snooty" side, this may not be the place for you. If you are a working person looking for a good value for your hard earned dollars.... I don't think you can beat it.

You feel safe walking in town and all the beautiful things that the town offers, like food and art. And of course the stay in Royal Solaris was above our expectations.

I didn’t like the reservation system for the restaurants and wasting times in line to sign up for New Year’s Eve dinner. It’s like the hunger games.

I was really disappointed with this hotel overall. On the first day i arrived, my child was stung by a bee at the kids swimming pool. There were a lot of bees there. My child was stung by a bee and received first aid and was in a lot of pain. I went to the front desk and spoke to the manager. But she didn't even apologize. No action was taken. I didn't feel good and the service was really bad. I went the next day and there were a lot of punishments as expected. I was really scared that other children would get stung by bees again. And the sink in the hotel room had a clogged drain so water didn't drain properly. The overall hotel wasn't clean and I really had a bad experience with this trip. This is a hotel I never want to go to again.

No hot water in our room first two days. Changed rooms. No A/C in our new room the last day until 2:30 the next morning. Manager and staff were super trying to take care of us. Food was so so. Never hot but warm. They did have a cold bottle of champaign in our table for our anniversary. The total experience was not as expected. Thanks Laura at the front desk for all your help.

All Inclusive

shutting down the air-condition the whole night during summer was a very poor decision, it was a very painful night specially for small children. maintenance like this should had been done during cooler months like December to February.

Property and room was clean . Staff was very friendly. Biggest complaint is lack of lunch options , with the restaurants closed you get hamburgers and hotdogs or pizza. Main pool gets very busy so we used the adults only . Property needs more nightlife options for adults . Marco Polo has the best dinner onsite .

loved the freshness of the food prepared daily. Staff was incredible. Very clean and well maintained. Nice pools.

I enjoyed the resort, plenty to eat, pools were nice, family oriented, very clean and safe

Hotel staff was rude and not helpful, was a late check in and a dirty room. Also the room was infested with roaches and spiders. When confronted with the pictures and evidence the so called supervisor advised us the we needed to stay there because they didn’t have any more clean rooms. Both rooms that I purchased were dirty and one of them didn’t have A/C. I was extremely upset. Will never stay in the Resort Ever Again. Bad experience and even worst workers and representatives.
