This is an older property that needs changes. Immediately walking in, there are clutters of dust on the lights over the lobby bar area which was concerning. The seaside dining area was very unorganized (our table of four was served courses at different times and we got duplicates of some of our salads and soups) and we noticed what looked to be a cockroach crawling around the service window area. It’s outside so there’s some latitude there but it appears the resort was aware of the issue as the following day, someone was out spraying something I imagine was for this problem. The buffet wasn’t great for breakfast or lunch. Dinners were slightly better because they had themes with some more options. It just lacked a variety of options that I have seen at other resorts. Some bartenders were better than others, but they ran out of stuff often. Mostly beer was hard to find around the resort. Sometimes the bartender would just tell us there is no beer and we had to order something else because they didn’t know if they would have more at any point, which worked for some in our group but some only drank beer so that was difficult. There wasn’t any beer offered in the room which would have helped the situation, so we ended up buying our own beer from the grocery store. We provided feedback about some of these items and they didn’t seem to care which made us frustrated. We spoke with a manager who said feedback goes through our booking site which seemed like they were devaluing us.

Great location and friendly staff. Relaxing location and good food. The pool is nice. The beach is not swimmer friendly but beautiful to admire. Beaches that are safe to swim in are in close proximity. Overall, we would come here again.

The overall ambiance was very nice

This resort was small and less crowded, which was good in a way because we didn't have to fight for a spot at the pools. The adult pool on top was nice because we basically had it all to ourselves, so it was peaceful while we tanned all day. The music that they played at the pool was great and so were the tropical drinks. Going to Mexico with just mother and daughter was a little worrisome but we felt safe there. The food was okay and being that the resort was small, there were not much restaurant options. The nightclub was not bad. It had nice seatings and they played music videos through the decades. They also had live singers outside every night. The staff were nice and friendly. Overall, we had a good time there.

We had a wonderful time staying at Royal DeCamaron hotel. All inclusive resort, but would be more awesome if they upgrade on the quality of alcohol. Quiet clean food was great stay.

Overall our stay was pleasant. The staff was very nice and the bars and pools were great. The proximity to San Jose was nice. I will say that housekeeping didn’t give us hand towels or coffee after the first day so that was a little annoying. Also the food wasn’t the greatest. While dinner was probably tasty in some cases, it was not very warm and in some cases cold.

At times the hot water in the shower was not very hot, on the verge of cold. Also i think they should offer a self serve soft ice cream station at the buffet

Just returned from 7 day stay with my wife and teenage daughters. From check in to check out, we only saw helpful and friendly staff. We travel annually and always go to a different location and property, but will likely return to this one. Pros- Food was pretty good. I was skeptical based on other reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Rooms, restaurants, and facilities (although a bit dated) were clean and well kept. The property was also smaller but you could always find a seat by the pool. Great restaurants and shopping were within 10-15 minute walking. The restaurant near the ocean had the best lunch and drinks. Daily entertainment and staff were fun but not pressuring-A . Wait staff were all helpful and friendly. Water bottles and towels were always available upon request. Cons- pool bar drinks were watered down. Room walls were thin. Nightly entertainment was ok at best. Overall, this was a great choice for us. It's not a party type resort, but great for what we were looking for. The smaller size of the property made everything easily accessible.

Hotel is dirty. Rooms are dirty and old. Balcony door was very hard to open. Food is disgusting (yes its all inclusive, but we had to eat outside most of the times). Menu never changes, same food every single day. Pool bars don't have mint for Mohito. Alcohol is mixed with a lot of water, so you barely feel any alcohol in your drink. Bartender at the pool is rude and refused to give water bottle. No elevators. Hotel is old and very outdated. Towels old as well and have holes in it and it seems like they are dirty. Water pressure in showers is very weak. Also it takes like 15 minutes for water to get barely warm. A lot of stuff doesn't speak any basic English! Front desk lady was nice and helped a lot. Oh! You can't swim in the sea there because of huge waves and strong currents. This hotel never mention that its place not swimmable. You need to drive to Cabo San Lucas La Marina area to swim. Thats $40 one way on taxi. Overall: Bad Hotel. Will never return there.

This resort was small and less crowded, which was good in a way because we didn't have to fight for a spot at the pools. The adult pool on top was nice because we basically had it all to ourselves, so it was peaceful while we tanned all day.
