I booked a room through Orbitz after being stranded at the airport in DFW. it was already 2:30 in the morning when I had to pay $35 dollars to Uber to the hotel I had reserved whereupon I was informed that there was no vacant room for me. I was therefore stranded again with the nearest Uber 30 minutes away before being able to return to the airport. This time however, I was locked out of there too.

Absolutely horrible. Waited in line for over an hour.. I was not able to use any of my credit cards for security deposit. When I informed the lady who was helping me that I was able to pay online with the same card she said they did not accept it, so therefore she could not move past a certain screen so I left and immediately contacted dollar and they cancelled it on their end but here’s the fun part… when I called orbitz I could not get thru to anyone. I was going in circles with a bot and when it finally got to tell me there would be a time limit of 3 hours to talk to a rep from them I had waited about 2 on hold and then it just hung up. I was only able to talk to an online person THE NEXT DAY who could not help me either because they said it had already been started which it was not because the lady at the desk could not get passed a screen so in Orbitz eyes I guess the car was rented out to me but I never picked it up. Basically my money was stolen from me because til now I still have not gotten back my money and nothing has been resolved. I’m very upset and extremely disappointed in this whole situation and I WANT MY MONEY BACK. The rep said they would check back in 10 days when it did not take them 10 days to take that money out of my account, absolutely absurd if you ask me. My trip was 25th to the 26th and I was NEVER ABLE TO GET THAT RENTAL. I was there to pick my son up run some errands and get right back to the airport, instead I was left with the inconvenience of having to wait at the airport and find a ride and still not have my money refunded. BEWARE!
