It is a nice hotel in a good location (outside of the main Krabi area, but still plenty of good options for F&B outside of the restaurant). The property was not up to the usual good Sofitel standard or service, but still overall a good stay. 2 nights was a enough time.

Very very great experience from all aspects

Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan is a beautiful tropical resort with immaculate grounds and one of the friendliest, most welcoming staffs I’ve experienced. The property truly feels like a tropical escape. The beach isn’t a traditional sandy beach, as there are rocks when entering the water, but it’s still beautiful, and I enjoyed seeing tropical fish while swimming. The resort has several restaurants, although the food was somewhat hit or miss. I wanted to give this resort five stars, but a few things held it back. Service was usually excellent, but there were times when it was difficult to get someone’s attention to order food or drinks. The rooms were also noisier than expected. I could hear the air conditioner, neighboring villa doors, and occasional music from nearby. The villa was nice and comfortable, but I would have appreciated a comfortable chair or small couch. My room overlooked a nicely landscaped garden, but beyond that was just a wall. The location is very secluded. There isn’t anything within walking distance, so you’ll need a taxi to go anywhere. The surrounding neighborhood is much more modest than the resort itself. The gym yoga mats were worn and should be replaced or cleaned more regularly. I also found the spa to be overpriced for the experience. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with wonderful staff that could easily earn five stars with a few improvements.

I would stay at Saem again. The hotel is immaculate. They put great care into maintaining the whole property. Pool is also very well maintained. Beds were so comfortable and showers were hot with excellent water pressure. The first night, our AC had issues and they were very responsive and fixed it quickly. Staff were all so hospitable and welcoming. Excellent experience

Noisy and echoey... if we opened our bedroom door we just heard the sound of clanging plates. Overpriced. Dated rooms. Unhelpful staff at kids club.

We just spent 9 nights here and we are a family if 5, we got connecting rooms and it was brilliant! We will definitely stay here again! Great location, lovely amenities, very happy, friendly and helpful staff and great buffet breakfast! Thank you for a wonderful holiday, The Lindley Family😊😊

This was our 4th stay here and we were a little reticent as had heard the adult restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment. However we were pleased to find the alternative in place was adult breakfast at the Asian wok which was amazing. We booked the a la carte restaurants for every evening and had a great experience. The staff are amazing as usual the building work is as discreet as it could be. Overall a great stay again
