There are two major airports in Washington, DC: the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and the Washington Dulles International Airport. Both are accessible by the city’s Metrorail. If you are flying out of Ronald Reagan airport, which is located just three miles from downtown, take the Blue or Yellow line directly to the terminal. To get to Dulles, which sits twenty-six miles outside the city, take the Orange line, stop at Falls Church, and take the shuttle to the airport. If you are planning to park at the airport, Ronald Reagan offers rates of $12 per day and Dulles offers rates of $10 per day. Both airports have restaurants and specialty shops where you can pass the time before your flight.
