Where to go: An escape from reality? Sounds like a Vegas visit! After all, what other city provides better fuel for a fantasy vacation than a neon-lit desert paradise featuring themed mega resorts, over-the-top pool parties and even the chance to strike it rich?! 

Uranus is traversing Taurus all year. This may lead you to take an unusual adventure or get off the beaten path while on one. This adventure might prove uplifting, but it’s best to soften the edges just in case, as Taurus also loves creature comforts.

Where to go: Los Angeles is all about getting off-the-beaten-path without straying far from it. In sunny LA you can you hike to a waterfall, drive a mountain range and relax on a secluded beach and still be close to packed theme parks, red carpet premieres and rooftop pool parties!

The abundance of planets in Earth signs this year is bound to be a bit of a burden on light-hearted Gemini. Truly a year to take a “flight of fancy” or “make a dream come true” to combat the effects of over-working and achievement. The second half of July is especially auspicious.

The plethora of planets in Capricorn this year might be a bit humdrum for live-it-up Leo. Things pick up a bit after Mars moves into Aries in July. It’s time to have some fun and let yourself shine… How about something in the sun and days filled with carefree thoughts?

Where to go: A couple’s getaway? We see sunny San Diego in your future. Escape to America’s Finest City for hand-in-hand walks along Coronado Beach, candlelit dinners in Little Italy, a luxe La Jolla shopping spree and a couple’s massage at a spa resort in Rancho Sante Fe.

Scorpio is liable to have plenty of energy this year. Due to the large proportion of planets in Earth and Water signs, however, the general high-energy level without a vent for its intensity may call for Scorpio need to blow off some steam and get rid of some excess energy surfacing as frustration or irritation.

Capricorn rules the bones and joints and dry atmospheres can be a relief after a wet winter and also help clear mental cobwebs. Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn are all in Capricorn. This promises a fortunate, but well-ordered trip. Just what the doctor ordered.

For gregarious and unconventional Aquarius, this year may seem stodgy and conservative. Community-minded Aquarius could have the largest benefit to others and serve themselves simultaneously by having a trip this year that fits them, be it amongst a group of like-minded folk, or maybe with others thinking radically different for enlivened discussions.

Where to go: Sounds like a trip to crunchy, cool Portland is in order! Unconventional Aquarius will love noshing on Dutch tacos and hand-pulled noodles from food carts, unearthing quirky finds at the Portland Saturday Market and chasing waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge.

Your ruling Planet in your very own sign of Pisces plus the large amount of planets in Earth signs may make Pisces in the mood for a deepening of her relationship to her own element, water. Self-reflection and calm contemplation are on this year’s agenda.
