Tulsa International Airport (TUL) is a public/military airport that is located five miles northeast of the downtown Tulsa area in the state of Oklahoma.
Formerly known as Tulsa Municipal Airport, the facility was later renamed in 1963. The facility averages 353 aircraft operations each day with 35% being general aviation, 25% airline and 13% dedicated to military use.
TUL has a central terminal that is connected to two concourses A and B. Concourse A has a total of 10 gates while Concourse B has 11. The entry section of the airport has individual arrival and departure curbs.
The Inner Arapahoe Drive curb is used primarily for departures while the outer Airport drive is used for passenger arrivals. Baggage claim sites can be found in between these two driveways for your convenience.
When you fly to TUL, you are flying into Oklahoma s second largest city, a place filled with glistening skyscrapers, a rich cultural legacy and that signature Southern hospitality.
Visitors can lose themselves in the Blue Dome Entertainment District; nine blocks dedicated to food, alcohol, nightclubs and having a good time.
If you want to go shopping, head to Utica Square, which is home to a wide range of shops, from clothes boutiques to home and design shops.
