Food quality must be improved and good and new planes must be put on important international routes

staff very professional, but not very personable or out-going

Bidded for economy neibor free and never got it. Bidded for business class upgrade got it immediately. When we got on the pkace economy was empty. Felt tricked to pay more.

We were able to buy an upgrade, and we loved it! The economy plus seating was very comfy & the food was great. The staff was very helpful and professional. However the aeroplane itself was very old! The chairs were torn and the pockets, on the back of each seat, were left hanging because they don't stick anymore. It was such a shame and a big contrast compared to the Etihad Airlines flight that we had taken right before this one. We love Alitalia but they definitely need to renovate their planes.

Distance between the seats are quite near.

Expect a packed flight and ask for specific seats if you want to avoid being squeezed in the middle seat.

Asked for available seats but was not given to me, too bad

Oct 29, 2018

I must note that the flight was almost two hours late. An aeroplane in Amman had broken down and required parts. My flight was to bring these parts to Amman and it took almost two hours to get them on board and take off. I wasn't bothered because for the first time ever I wasn't going to be late for a transfer or connection. The sad part is that this made a great difference to my stay in Amman as my plans to spend some time in the afternoon exploring round a bit we're thwarted. We arrived when traffic was peaking into the city and this delayed my check-in even more. But these things happen. It was nobody's fault. Etihad needed to get the parts for the broken plane to Amman and that was that. But Etihad is a splendid airline and I'd gladly fly with them again.
