Machrie View - a lodge that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms
The House is perfect for a short or a long time stay on Islay. Very central between Port Ellen and Bowmore. 30 minutes ride to Jura Ferry. Islay Ales Brewery is only a five minutes walk away they serve the best beers.

The Island Bear is very conveniently located in the cneter of Islay, a block away from ameneties, and the revered Bowmore distillery. Breakfast was ok although staff spoke very little english. Ended up getting a full scottish breakfast when that wasnt what was ordered. Rooms were roasting hot and wouldnt turn down/ off.
