Visitors from across the world fly into Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) in order to start their exploration of the Philippines. While many will head straight to their resorts, Cebu City is itself a popular tourist destination.
To get to Cebu City from the airport, a taxi is your best option, which will take around 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can bag a seat on a colorful, kitsch Jeepney - catch one outside the supermarket on the airport highway. Be aware that this journey will take you around an hour.
