"Well, I arrived from the airport after flying all day across the USA from Wash DC, to check in and I was rather in a hurry to get checked in and make an appointment I had in Albuquerque evening. It was a bit disconcerting to find a hand written note taped to the office window saying, "I'll be back in 15 minutes." I leaned on the office doorbell and a staffer showed up but really that is not the way to do business. Other than that, the stay was alright, but I doubt I will choose The Imperial again, or recommend it. There are other hotels in town where the check in staff is on duty when guests arrive."
