This two bedroom, two bath house sleeps up to a maximum of six guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with all dining and cooking needs. The living area has a flat screen TV with guest account streaming service. The deck has a picnic table and outdoor furniture.

Wawona is inside Yosemite National Park, near the south entrance, Highway 41, and near the Mariposa Grove. Enjoy swimming holes in the South Fork of the Merced River which is right down the road, hiking to Chilnualna Falls, the historic Wawona Hotel and golf course, Wawona stables, and Swinging Bridge.

Wawona is an hour drive to the Yosemite Valley attractions.

Guests are not required to make park reservations while staying in the park.

Everything was perfect. The cabin is in a wonderful quiet location, it was really well equipped, comfy beds and sofas and large beds perfect to ease tired hiking legs in the evening. My only regret is we were not here long enough! There's a beautiful fireplace that we had the fortune of enjoying. Hope to return one day

We loved everything about this cabin, from the comfortable beds, comfy couches, full kitchen with everything available to cook with including a great propane grill. The house was beautifully decorated and clean. The owners were available for questions too. We cooked two full dinners with food purchased at the local store. Yosemite was amazing, and it was great to return to a quiet house and sit out on the lovely deck. We would return in a heartbeat!

Found the outside area of the property to be messy, areas of the inside cottage to be unclean - dusty glasses, cobwebs on the windows and blinds behind the tv, rugs in bathroom and bedspread in the small bedroom need cleaning. Annual trip to the May’s cabin. It’s nice and quiet, allowing for much needed decompression from hectic life. We were pleased to see the new stove/oven and dishwasher. The window A/C in the master was a nice bonus upgrade as well. See you next year.

Total cabin snob here, and I have to say that I was over the top happy with everything this cabin had to offer. Clean, great AC, comfy beds, well stocked, perfect for traveling with dogs, and great location! Only suggestion is to bring floaters with you for the creek which is just down the street!

Lovely cabin inside Yosemite

We were here for 5 days for Spring break with our small terrier. 4 adults. Never been to this location - south - very close to Mariposa Grove. Loved it. Walk to nearby river. Well stocked kitchen. Warm cabin. park right outside. The owners very communicative. Wifi worked and I was able to communicate with my staff in Los Angeles. Don't line up outside the park to get in.. stay IN the park. My daughter turned 21 during the stay and we drove 40 mins to Elderberry house in Oakhurst for a wonderful 5 star dinner. Was manageable.
