We had a wonderful stay at this property while in York for our daughter's wedding at the nearby Stage Neck Inn. The location could not have been more convenient—just minutes from the venue, making it easy for our extended family to gather and enjoy all of the wedding festivities together.The home was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a multi-generational family stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, reconnect, and celebrate such a special occasion. We especially appreciated the clean accommodations, thoughtful amenities, and welcoming atmosphere.The property provided the perfect home base for wedding weekend activities, and the beautiful York area offered plenty to enjoy between events. Our family created wonderful memories here, and we would happily recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area for a family gathering, wedding, or vacation.

The location is excellent, and a few key indoor spaces are very nice. The modern kitchen features a large table that was perfect for our group to share meals and play games, and the living room is cozy with a gas fireplace and TV. It was decorated nicely with a warm feel. A porch full of furniture to enjoy the outdoors with casual conversation were things we very much enjoyed. Owner was easy to communicate with. Aside from the kitchen and living room, the property was a major disappointment and lacked basic care:•Safety & Maintenance: A fire alarm had exposed hanging wires, a mattress had broken springs, and bathroom windows had mold due to a lack of exhaust fans. The home floors needed refinishing as they were worn and much of the paint was chipping.•Cleanliness & Upkeep: We found a cigarette butt on a dresser, disorderly closets filled with dirty air conditioners, and an unmaintained backyard. Outside, a rusty old grill sat behind the newer one, and the siding needed a good power washing, as it was covered in green algae. Thankfully we didn’t need access to the extra apartment as it was blocked by overgrown bushes and trash cans.•Missing Amenities & Functionality: There were few extra blankets or towels, no clothes hangers, and insufficient outlets (requiring questionable extension cord setups). Furthermore, there was no counter space or outlets near bathroom mirrors for grooming, and no towel bars and towel hooks were extremely limited.The home has great potential
