I believe this property fundamentally is NOT tourist focused, and definitely would not be to standards fit for a family vacation. Staff was attentive, courteous and exude Japanese values. However, the Sheraton in and of itself is business oriented and driven. The lay out itself should have been red flags, multiple restaurants, businesses, weddings venues etc. proliferate the entire hotel and are obviously its priority. Please review other negative reviews of this property as they are all true and you have been warned. From the very start, I was Absolutely disappointed with hotel policy of not accommodating an early check-in or at the very least service guest with options. Caught a red eye flight-in, up for for more than 24hrs only to be told at the front desk that they could not accommodate anything until 3pm and to come back then. Tired and exhausted, no place to wait, we were forced into the corner of the lobby to wait for over 5 hours. I’ve never been treated or made to feel like a homeless person in my life. With so many other hotels to choose from, your money would be well spent not at the Sheraton. Will NOT be giving this company any future business.
