Was a very noisy upstairs as you can hear every step they took and they where up around 6am so not a good sleep and the dog also was a bit load barking. When we first moved in it was very cold and took about a day to warm up. Then on our third day we wanted to do our laundry and clean our soiled towels but was a bit issue to get any detergent and ended up no clean towels and laundry not what was advertised and again very noisy at times when you wanted to sleep in and last rant is the smell from upstairs all in our basement suite

We went to see the Aurora. Was getting home at 3am. Thought we could sleep in but it was very noisy above. I recommend people wear mocassins or quiet slippers and avoid heavy activity in the bedroom area. Dog barking didn’t help either. I recommend to put a curtain on the kitchen window, the sun is right in ur eyes.Everything was great other than we were not getting good sleep.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The apartment is well laid out, very clean and very well equipped and just a few minutes walk from the town centre. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is excellent. The hosts are friendly, helpful and very approachable. We would be very happy to stay here again when visiting Yellowknife.

Great accommodations close to shops and a short ride to the airport. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed and nice bath. Easy to locate and the directions to enter the property were clear and easy. Alvin Jay is easy to reach and very accommodating.

Great stay in the heart of town. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Apartment is warm and nicely outfitted with everything you need. The host is very responsive. My only critique is that the bathroom has no counter space at all and is quite tight but still functional enough. Would recommend!

At first, I booked with Alvin because there weren't hotels available. I'm so glad there wasn't hotel space as Alvin's place was so much better than a hotel! It was so convenient to have a kitchen and access to laundry. The location was very convenient. Alvin was so helpful, especially when my delayed luggage arrived while I was out - he took care of ensuring it was safely brought inside and waiting for me. Occasionally, I could hear a small dog barking upstairs, but never at times when it disturbed me. I slept easily and well. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and I would gladly stay here again.
