Room smelled like cat pee the second we walked in. No joke…overwhelming smell of cat pee. Tv didn’t work. Wouldn’t even turn on, and every time we came back to the room the key wouldn’t work and we would have to walk to office to reprogram. Crickets in room that chirped all night keeping us up…after 3 nights we tracked down all 3 and took care of that problem ourselves. We were there for the Ryder Cup. Great location, but for $500 a night (totally raised price for the Ryder cup crowd, motel room normally wouldn’t cost anywhere near that) certainly expected more. Very disappointed. Would never recommend this motel to anyone…dirty and old…and broken down

Staff was not friendly. Keys wasn’t working on the door #252 went to get staff she came but used her key, I thought she was supposed to use my key,again on the night shift the guy who was there was worst did not speak a word to us, even we told him about the key not working.He came and used his key, I think they knew the key wasn’t working.it was very inconvenient for us to get staff every so often. Also at 3pm room was not ready, we had to wait maybe half hour later to get in. Thank you

The room was clean (sheets, toilet etc) but because it was a pet friendly room, the carpet freshener was loaded on thick to hide urine scent and it was overwhelming. The remote control was taped together and was missing buttons and although it was replaced, the volume and on and off button didn’t work. You had to use the buttons on the side of the tv. Shower drain did not drain during my shower so I had to wash my feet in the sink afterwards. Breakfast was continental. All in all the stay was okay for one night. If I were them, I would rip up the carpets in the pet friendly rooms and replace with tile. No amount of steaming and freshening powder can save that carpet.

First room we had, water was pouring into the bathroom like rain from the unit above… rug in front of sink was soaked. Key cards hardly worked, had to swipe it at least 5 times to open the door! Stairs to go to the 2nd floor had a huge hole on the landing… it had rusted away. Finally they put up caution tape up and closed the stairs. Exterior needed cosmetic work. Also mold at top of shower enclosure. Needs to be rebuilt from ground up!

We enjoyed our overnight stay. The staff was very nice. The whole place was very cozy and quaint. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good, a lot of variety. We will definitely stay again when passing through.
