This was quite possibly the best place I’ve ever stayed on vacation ever. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff that we met were wonderful. Our room, #6, was excellent! It was spacious, well-appointed, super clean, and as my wife said - cute! She utilized and enjoyed the sauna. We stayed for 4 nights, and the lite breakfast each morning was a great start to our day exploring the surrounds. It was a very comfortable experience and there were several ‘comfortable’ restaurants nearby.

Comfiest bed of our stay so far! Great location close to the main street in town. Loved the complimentary snacks, including chips and ice cream sandwiches, as well as the light continental breakfast. We had such an excellent experience at the August House, we didn't want to leave. The House is gorgeous, and the rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. You can tell a lot of heart, soul, and thought went into making every detail perfect. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were all so kind and happy to chat with us.
