The Lodge at Eden Reserve was perfect for our needs. We were in town to visit the Ark and Creation Museum. It was very easy to find right off the interstate. Cabin 119 is located in a small culdesac that backed up to the woods. The kitchen was well stocked. Laundry supplies were available. A supply box with batteries, toothbrush/paste, charging cords etc under the kitchen sink was very nice. The beds were comfy. The pull out sofa bed was standard. There aren’t any closets but the hanging rack on the wall worked out. There are several mom and pop places to eat near by. We try and support small businesses whenever possible. Some of our faves were: Beans: for b’fast ! OMG so darn good. They know what an over medium egg means (: The doughnuts were fantastic. Be sure and buy some sourdough bread and strawberry jam to take home.Kellie’s Homestead: was really good home style meat and veggies. They had a buffet but we weren’t that hungry. In downtown Williamstown Hansie’s burgers were great ! Named for the owner Hans and his collection of clocks. Opa’s next door to Hansie’s had good pizza. Down the sidewalk was Taylor Belles ice cream shop. Cute old school decor and music. We would definitely stay at the Lodge again.
