Very Walkable to Village and Gondolas

Great property with plenty of space and extremely close to village amenities. Place was as advertised being clean and an excellent private hot tub.

Whistler Retreat

Stayed at this 3 bedroom condo right in Whistler village with 2 families. Clean with 2 full bathrooms and even more important for the teens boys…no sharing a bed. The hot tub with a wonderful view of the mountains was enjoyed morning and night. The kitchen was full stocked with a nespresso and Kure ring. A coffee shop and grocery shop right across the street. Parked our car in the underground parking and didn’t need it for a week of skiing.

Perfect location

Considering the fact that we wanted a condo and not a hotel room, this listing was near perfect. There was a shuttle drivers' strike but the walk to Whistler was 650m, ok for our 4 children. Kitchen really well equipped, close to groceries and liquor stores. Bedding very clean. Private hot tub so appreciated. Bathroom floors and showers may have been a bit cleaner but I realize I'm picky. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Whistler Retreats was well organized and knowledgeable. Check-in and property info was great. The 3 bed suite at Northlands was adequate. It is very dated and in need of updates but was clean and a very good location. Second shower hardware not operating correctly but manageable. Suite is very dark and kitchen needs better dishes and stocking but again as long as you don't seek luxury the suite is ok.

Nice place, but a few hiccups

One issue is the lack of a/c. It was pretty stifling in there at times, despite us having the fans going constantly.The grounds are nice, but the pool is kind of small, so it can be too crowded if you don't time it right.One issue we had was that the management company didn't warn us that the hottub maintenance guy would be coming during our stay. So when my wife and children entered the apartment, they were very startled to have some man come down from upstairs. DO BETTER--this was a frightening experience for them.

The rooms were small and only the master bedroom could fit 2 cribs. So tight that we bumped our knees on the bedframes in the other two rooms. Needs painting and real furniture (beds only on a frame, no headboards). Cracked sink in master bedroom and existing damage throughout the unit.

The Unit was perfect for our family of 6, with everything you need for a week in Whistler, including a private hot tub on the balcony. Please consider replacing to a memory foam type in the future. The hot tub started to smell of burning wires and started to smoke on the last day we were there and then showed a wrench icon on the display screen. Possibly due for a maintenance check?

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay here. The place was very spacious and clean, no AC was an issue for sure in the summer. The pool area was small and didn’t have any decent chairs or loungers to hang out in. I also found it odd that with a 3 bedroom place not one room had a king bed. The location was excellent though for walking anywhere.
