Captain Alexander’s was perfect for our family! Fenced yard for the toddler as well as the proximity to the beach! The adults enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor shower. Perfectly close to our wedding venue as well.

A large home, perfect for multiple family groups. The outdoor space (and shower!) were a great extension of the house. Great to have access to a grill and smoker (with pellets provided!). Walkable to the beach, minutes from the grocery and easy to navigate around the Cape. Ample parking for multiple vehicles. Lots of recommendations from the host before we arrived so we could plan accordingly. Clean and tidy, with some supplies provided. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

Overwhelming

I stayed here for my friends wedding. Although we were barely at the house, any time we were there the owner showed up. He told my friend we were dumb for how we opened up the hot tub and I woke up at 8am to him walking outside on the property we were renting. We felt extremely uncomfortable and I wouldn't rent from him again.

CAPE COD VACATION

It was everything we were told it would be, and more. This was a fabulous house. Our Host was exceptional, leaving waters, spices, and other drinks for us to use as we wanted. I would rate this stat 10 out of 10!!!!!! I would recommend to all, and if I return to Cape Cod, This will be where I would stay. Thanks

Wonderful place, poor logistics

I stayed at this place last weekend and although it was beautiful and in a great location, I had two issues. 1) the owner forced me into buying VRBO insurance when I refused to send him a $500 security deposit in the mail. I told him he was supposed to charge security deposit through the app and I would have no problem with that but since the reservation had already gone through, he couldn’t so he said I had to buy insurance, or send him $500 in the mail or else he would cancel. Very unprofessional that I had to buy insurance because of his mistake in not charging security deposit upon booking 2) Throughout our stay, the owner was constantly around. For the most part I did not care because he was a nice guy but when we came back from the beach one day, he followed us into the back yard to make sure we washed off the sand outside before going in the house. It was off putting to be treated in such a childish manner. He has far too many rules to read through and the constant communication prior to and during the stay is exhausting. Overall, I likely would not stay here again for these reasons but if you can get past these things, it is a beautiful house in a great area.

Fantastic

Simply put, Captain Alexander’s was fantastic! A group of us were in town for a wedding, and needed a large space that was close to the action. Captain Alexander’s checked all the boxes and then some. The home is beautiful, the amenities (hot tub, putting green, gourmet kitchen, etc.) are top notch, the beach is a 5 minute walk, and Jerry and Ruth are extremely attentive. We can’t say enough good things about the home and trip. We are already planning our next visit!

Family vacation

Property is well taken care of. Only a short walk to the beach which was great for our crew of 9. Owners were very responsive, sent several emails about the area and left a nice gift for us. We would recommend this property to others.

Great place and location!!

We had a wonderful stay at Captain Alexander’s. We rented the two units and had family and friends with us. Great layout if you want some extra space for guests. The backyard, putting green and deck were terrific. Both units were well stocked with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The Captain and Ruth were a pleasure to rent from. You can’t beat the location- a 5-7 minute walk to Earle beach. Overall terrific choice and we would stay there again.
