I have stayed here often but this particular stay caught me off guard because I didn’t get the service I was used to. I wanted a room with a bathtub, as I always request. However, I was placed into a handicapped room and everything was extremely low to the ground. This would have been perfect for someone in a wheelchair but I couldn’t understand why I was put in here without letting me know this is how it would be. I would have declined.
My tv didn’t work and my bath would not get hot so maintenance had to come to fix both issues. While he tried his best, the bath never got hot and the front desk never tried to make anything right with me.
Then, I went to the restaurant for Happy Hour/dinner and was ignored over and over. It was weird. I sat on the outside of the restaurant, in that section between the restaurant and the computers. I was told I would get service and I noticed everyone else had service so I figured I’d be ok. The young man passed over me several times and came to a young blonde girl immediately when she sat down to ask if she needed anything. She said no, she wasn’t eating, all while I was and really wanted service. He hesitantly came over to me and when I ordered a drink, he rudely asked for ID. I didn’t see anyone else pull out an ID. Mine was in my room but I went upstairs to get it. I eventually was serviced, received my meal, and waited forever for the gentleman to check on me, see if I needed anything, or bring me my check. I eventually found the MGR.
