Reception staff polite and efficient, bar staff also. Room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. Seemed to be quite a few hairs in the bathroom. Room was otherwise comfortable. Swimming pool and amenities good. Massage was also good but have had better ones for less money. Bar food in afternoon was a tomato and mozzarella panini, was ok but could have been hotter. Hot chocolate very tasty. Dogs can stay at the hotel which is fine I guess but I hope the hairs in my room were not from an animal. Hope the rooms for dogs are separated. I like dogs but don’t want to share a room with one that has stayed, no matter how good the cleaning might be. There was one guy there with his two dogs both curled up on one of the couches in the bar. I don’t agree with this.

Staff were helpful and really pleasant. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast had a good choice with healthy options. Surrounding area is very pretty with a lovely village about a mile away with plenty of restaurants and bars. We stayed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We had a fab time.
