Absolute shambles. Avoid this place! Front door glass smashed, the shower curtain was serverely stained, it was dirty, stank of cigarette smoke, no central heating, cold, noisy and the 'breakfast buffet' was an absolute joke. Nobody even on reception to complain to.

the room was extremely dirty full of dirt, hair and the bed sheets looks and smell dirty too. I had to sleep with clothes on.

Very Happy Guests Lodge

I arrived late and the host had taken steps to make sure that I wasn't locked out. The room I had was large and I could have had my own kitchen setup if I was staying longer. In the morning I was greated by friendly host and I was offered a free continental breakfast.

Expected more, the guy who checked us in was accommodating, the room was a poor standard, not up to our expectations. Car alarm in the car park, went off at 4am and again at 6am so cut our losses and headed home.

Check in arrangements were good and helpful, sadly the feel of the place was not good. In my opinion it needs a proper refurbishment, I did not feel comfortable sleeping in what felt like a dirty bed with stains over the mattress and a peeling leatherette old headboard.

Would definitely stay again.

Met at the door with a warm welcome. Receptionist was very friendly and inviting and gave us some tips about getting where we needed to go quicker. Rooms are of good quality for the price paid.

I would not stay at this hotel again as there was a smell of excrement lingering in the air as their is a shared cesspit / sewer that has not been emptied at the front of the hotel, as it shares the pit with the garage next door. My room was not cleaned/checked, cups not cleaned removed and when i checked out there was no one to give me a receipt at 0700... For £80.00 PN i have had better experiences in hostels in Vietnam!!!!!! Discusting. It should be reported to the HSE!

An excellent hotel within easy reach of Manchester and very good value for money. Breakfast is provided with a good choice of food. On site free parking available. The manager is most helpful and polite.

Only thing I didn't like was that check in has to be done before 9:30pm and the wall had no adapter for the switches. Other than that. It's a nice property
