It was great at first the food was amazing and the staff were lovely. The night was soooooo noisy! We got woken several times by other guest the rooms are definitely not sound proof! I would caution staying there on a weekend when things get busy

I loved the views from my room and the private balcony that let me make the most of those views (sea and inlet marina). The spaciousness, cleanliness, and modern facilities of the room enabled me to relax straightaway. The bed and pillows were superb- made it hard to get up! I would definitely like to return for a longer stay

Great location, great views. Only negatives was there was not enough kitchen facilities, eg- plates, cutlery , etc for a family. We stayed in the penthouse, it had a dinner table setting for 6, with only four plates , glasses, etc.

We arrived an hour prior to check-in but was not able to access our room or was unable to get an upgrade for our room being a gold Hotels.com member was apparently unavailable. During the evening the electricity had been turned off due to a scheduled power outage from SA power network with no prior notification at our check-in. This meant that we have no phone charging facilities our fridge items and our TV and lights do not work. We are on the third floor with no lift access and we’re not informed about this power outage at our check-in. this could pose significant risk if there was any emergency or fire to the building during the evening.

Small flaws don't make us want to return.

We stayed 2 nights. The check-in was good. We agreed to pay on arrival, but despite this the Costello Hotels rep. tried 3 times to make an unauthorized deduction from our account - days before we arrived. Our account was locked fortunately. We could only get 1 station on the TV, and the internet was abysmal. The alehouse next to the hotel was the best attraction for us.
