The Bastion what an adventure this time!

This is our 3rd time to the Bastion for the Graspop Metal Meeting festival. When I booked last November, I asked for the same room we stayed in the last time. A rep from the hotel said thry would try to give us that room. However, upon checking in the rep even stated my request and I said yes I wanted the same room as last time. She gave me a room in the middle of the hall, instead of a corner room like I had before previously. This room/area was super noisy and people were smoking in the rooms all around our room. This is a non smoking hotel as far as I know. But didnot seem to matter everyone was smoking setting off the smoke detector across the hall from us. I do not like cigarette smoke at all. I was very unimpressed!

Business stay eindhoven outskirts

If you have work on outskirts of eindhoven. This is right on the highway. Good alternative to van der walk which is right across the road but 30% costlier Bastion has big comfortable rooms and spacious bathrooms. Food was good at the restaurant. Speed of service could have been better Warm staff !

The first problem is the very large, very slow Prison Gate to get in. It is, in a word, disturbing. Second, my room door rattled the entire time. It seemed, if anything happened in the hallway, the door would rattle like someone was trying to get in. Like an air pressure problem coupled with a poorly made door. And this went on all night. Kept me up. Then, I never got a receipt. I get not printing to save paper, but it wasn't even emailed. Nothing.
