Travel to and from the airport is primarily done by rental car or taxi, though a bus service does exist and caters mainly to the locals. Rental car rates begin at around $24 plus tax and fees, and a taxi ride to or from the airport costs approximately $22. The trip by car or taxi takes approximately 17 minutes each way. The bus service can take up to twice that long, but it only costs $1.50. The bus is only available on weekdays, with departures at 7:39 a.m. and 4:59 p.m. The bus leaves from the Midland Tech bus stop near the airport.
